I have been looking for a hairdresser/designer who would agree to give my long hair some serious layers (also referred as a ‘shag cut’). With the fear of turning my hair into a mullet all the hairdressers I spoke to earlier said ‘no’ (‘we can only give you one layer’) until I saw Saskia’s layered cuts on Instagram. I have my dream hair thanks to her now. She has the imagination and courage to experiment with long hair. I wouldn’t let any other hairdresser to touch my hair now!

I come here because I get a good cut and the staff are friendly. This time I wanted to go a little shorter and Felix ran through a couple of options that were suitable for my hair type. I took the option to have a soft wave (as my hair is straight) And I loved the result.

I’ve been here twice and I always recommend this place to my uni mates!! I asked for a face framing hair cut with face framing highlights and my hair dresser did exactly that, plus all together with olaplex treatment in total was £131 with the 30% student discount (great price). To add as well I’ve got dark brown hair and my hair went light just after one round.
Would definitely recommend this place to students! The staff are really friendly as well.

Cannot fault The Boilerhouse!
Had some really poor experiences with hairdressers in the past but always leave the Boilerhouse looking and feeling amazing. Always feel really listened to by the stylists and leave with my hair looking exactly the way I imagined it (or even better!)

I've always found Hope to be a versatile, detail orientated experienced Stylist and Colourist. I've gone from blonde to light brown to balayage and straight hair to waves or curls and a middle, side and far side parting and she always listens, consults and does my hair beautifully.

Did an absolutly amazing job on my hair and Elle was extremely friendly and lovely.

Wonderful haircut and relaxing atmosphere. Great advice too on longer term management.
