As a woman in her late 30s I have fought my whole life to find hairdressers who understood and maybe even celebrated curly hair-I’m so happy to have found Felix-love his curly friendly cuts! Will definitely be returning!

Another wonderful trip to the salon. Saskia always listens and understands how to make a hairstyle work, her suggestions are greatly received. I always feel happy after a visit! It’s so good to be back.

Great hair cut , in a safe and relaxed atmosphere

Staff were so friendly and welcoming. The place looks really great too. I got my eyebrows and eyelashes done. Really happy with the result, couldn’t recommend enough :)

She really put me at ease and made me feel there is hope for my acne. The treatment was amazing and I would definitely recommend her 100%.

Warm welcome and after a consult on what style I was after I was whisked away and had one of the best hair washers ever. Felix then totally change my style from mid length straight to short and choppy, a cut I’d had 4 years previous. So with the aid of a photo I was given the perfect cut, and immediately could see this was as I’d ask. Unfortunately the blow dry/finish by another member of staff let the experience down. She didn’t ask how the hair was supposed look once dried, no volume due to no product except 2 squirts of sea salt and I had to ask for straighteners to turn the ends out as the blow dry was nothing like it was supposed to be. I know it was only the second day of opening after lock down and a busy salon meant Felix may have been stretched but I do feel you should walk out of a salon without needing to re do your hair once home. If someone else is to be involved in the cut and finish the they should possibly be at the consult. I am more than happy with my cut and after a blow dry once home with mouse and a little wax to define the choppy ends I was good to go!

My colour was done by Felix who gave advise about the colours that would suit me.
Issac then gave me a fantastic cut and blow dryer, he also introduced to a new product I had not used before . My hair is so easy to manage and stays in shape. They also have a excellent range of products which obviously I had to purchase. Thank you both for making me so welcome.

Hope did a great job with my hair. She really listens to what you want and provides advice when you’re not sure. Fantastic as always.

Visited the Boiler house for the fist professional hair cut in a long time. Had a vague idea of what I was wanting and after a lovely consultation with Saskia I felt very confident and relaxed. She did a wonderful job at putting me at ease and I am delighted with the results- looking forward to my next visit

Lovely experience at the Boilerhouse. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Felix done my colour and Isaac styled my hair.
They also had an excellent range of products which I also purchased. Felix also gave me a free product as I recently purchased so GHD's from him and this is how I discovered the Boilerhouse.
I will be definitely be going back and would totally recommend them!

Hope listened to what I said re my colour, cut and curly blow dry and it ended up looking the way I wanted it to.
Prices wise - it'll be great when you can put the 20% discount on a Friday back on. I'd have loved to have tipped Hope or bought some product in store although I chose not to because of the price of the highlights, cut and blow dry.

Absolutely the best salon in Newcastle. Amazing attentive staff, totally transformative haircut and colour. Issac and his colleagues are super stars. Definitely 5 Big Gold Shiny Stars. I would definitely recommend this salon.

What a lovely Salon, friendly smiling staff, from the getgo. Still offered the full service including coffee ?. Fully socially distanced. I felt comfortable instantly. All staff I encountered made conversation and that for me is a big thing. I hate silence. Isaacs was lovely and even though I have him unrealistic tasks he smiled and helped me get in the way to what I want.

I’ve been going to saskia for over a year. Found her great creations on Instagram and had to see what she could do with mine.
She’s the only hairdresser I know who can do a proper shag hair cut with a razor.
My hair is is in such a better condition now and she always listens to me.

Isaac has cut and coloured my hair for the last year. I'm so pleased I decided to give the Boilerhouse a try. It's a 60 mile round trip for me, but worth it, because my cut and colour is great. Thank you Isaac.

As always very pleased with the cut from Isaac along with his friendliness - the young woman who washed my hair however appeared to lack this quality!
I have to say though that I felt a little more anxious this time - lack of disposable towels and on previous visits staff have worn visors as well as masks. There also appeared a lot more people around.

I took a plunge after 4 years going from blonde to dark , I put my trust in Nicole and it paid off. My hair is so beautiful, each time I go in I always request Nicole, she is professional but very personable and I always leave with a smile on my face thanks to Nicole!

This was my first visit to The Boilerhouse and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience! I was originally supposed to have Felix do my hair, but after a small admin mix up Nicole stepped in.
