Because of a short notice holiday, I was unable to keep an appointment with my usual ‘A‘team of Gaby and Jo. Mitch very thoughtfully rearranged my appointment to be with Gaby and Vicky. I am delighted with the result. Thanks to all concerned.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the salon today. Molly was knowledgeable and advised me as she always does when I’m unsure of what I want. My hairstyle is just lovely and I’m very happy. Molly was as friendly as she always is and remembered my daughters recent wedding and it just felt like having a lovely catch up with a friend.

I am very pleased with my hair cut and also satisfied with the service I received.

I have not had my hair done since December and I was excited to get it done after such a long time as I was heading back to the office after over a year. The experience at your salon was one of absolute disappointment and upset. I ended up going to another salon afterwards to seek advice on the colour disaster that I had experienced at your salon. To add insult to injury, as the stylist had to recolour my hair she did not have time to style my hair and I ended up leaving with a simple ‘blast of the hairdryer’. I do not feel I was given correct professional advice. I am a former journalist and have in the past been asked to review places for newspapers - this is one that I would not give a favourable review! I would not mind paying such a lot for a cut and colour if I was happy with the outcome but I was extremely unhappy and feel to still be charged over £100 was completely unacceptable. This has been a very upsetting hairdresser appointment and now I have to find another salon to fix your work.

After approximately 8 jet black box dyes on my naturally blonde hair during lockdown, I thought I’d never get back to my natural colour. Three sessions with Gabi and just under three months later, I’m back to my natural colour without having a ridiculous hair colour at any point in between. Gabi and the staff at Jesmond Boilerhouse are clearly very experienced and excellent with hair, and I would trust them with any hair disaster, no matter how far gone you think things are! They’ll find a way to fix it.

Izzie is a fantastic stylist who took great care in restyling my ‘mature’ hair. An excellent cut and finish. Many thanks, Izzie. Will certainly be rebooking!

The first time I have been to a proper salon for such a long time and I’m glad I chose this one, absolutely love the decor and relaxed atmosphere. I have visited Boilerhouse Jesmond three times now, the first time for a total restyle by Molly and colour by Sophie and since then I have been back for a bleach and two haircuts by Molly. The salon is so welcoming and Molly is an amazing stylist, very attentive and I always leave with what I’ve asked for. I will definitely be a returning customer, thank you so much x

Jo has been cutting my hair for a long time now. As well as being such a friendly and fun person to chat to she really knows her stuff! I recently had a change of style and some new colour, Jo was so helpful with lots of great ideas on the cut and shades of colour to use and really took her time to talk through all the options. I couldn't be happier with the results too. Jo also had so much good advice on the right products to use on my hair as well as some great tips. I find Boilerhouse such a friendly and relaxed place to visit - you really do get quality advice and styling here.

First visit & it certainly won’t be my last. Very professional & friendly welcome. Nina my stylist was very attentive, friendly, great conversation, good sense of humour. Brilliant, can’t fault the experience.
