I had a gel pedicure with Amy today and it was so relaxing! So nice to treat myself after being extremely stressed recently and my gels look beautiful!
The salon have made great efforts to keep the same atmosphere as pre covid safety measures and made me feel safe with the current environment.
Looking forward to my next appointment!

This was my first time getting my hair done here as I’ve just moved to Newcastle. On I arrival I was greeted straightaway and the staff seemed lovely. Izzie did my balayage and cut and she was very helpful in helping me decide what length, depth of colour and style to go for that would suit me which was really nice because I’m usually very indecisive! This was overall a great experience and I am absolutely in love with my hair! Thank you x

The standards never change. They always aim high. The atmosphere is relaxed and calm and this is all credit to the staff and how they conduct themselves.

Molly was a great stylist. Listened to what I wanted but also provided very helpful advice on what would/wouldn’t work (currently trying to grow my hair out after being short for years). Service was amazing, safety measures definitely made me feel safe without it feeling too “clinical”. Really happy with my new locks and will definitely be back.

Delighted to be back this week with the fabulous Jo. The team at Boilerhouse are brilliant! Having my hair eventually cut and coloured after so long was bliss. In addition to the result, their attention to detail with regards to their PPE and customer safety is so reassuring.

Can I just add - I almost missed my appointment, had I not been prompted by a phone call from Mitch (it was totally my fault, I had the time wrong in my diary- even after all the prompts from yourselves) I apologised and said I would just have done what they could fit in. No question for the team.... they moved things around and still had my full appointment. Incredible! BOILERHOUSE ARE SUMPLY FABULOUS!! Thank you all .. H ??

Six months since my last cut and colour, it felt like Xmas Day going back to the salon for an amazing experience and transformation. Worth every penny.

Friendly, relaxed, efficient and professional

I had a long overdue appointment for a haircut after lockdown and it was worth the wait! The team were very friendly and Zahra did a fantastic job! She listened to what I was after, helped me make a decision on what to go for and has given my hair new life!

Slightly odd to be ‘masked up’ and be partitioned off from other clients which naturally changed the atmosphere but not hairdressing standards.

Very pleased with cut and colour. Relaxed atmosphere. Not many people in shop. Did not feel vulnerable at all . Every thing cleaned after each client.

Absolutely fantastic visit to Boilerhouse Jesmond; it was so good to be back! Michael was brilliant, as always, and knew exactly how to get my hair back to it’s pre-lockdown self. So impressed with all of the gorgeous Kerastase and Olaplex products that were used, too. It was all super safe and I felt really comfortable with all of the new procedures/measures that are in place. Thank you so much, can’t wait to be back!

The atmosphere was relaxed, while stringent standards were clearly being met. This was especially appreciated as it was the first time I had really been out since lockdown. Molly did an excellent job as always and I can't tell you how good it felt to get a quality cut after almost 5 months!

I always come away from Boilerhouse feeling ten years younger. Not the cheapest haircut in Newcastle but excellent value for money, hair looks great until my next appointment. Nina is a star, always friendly and is a great listener!

I was a bit anxious about coming into the salon during a pandemic, but everything was managed so well and it made me feel safe. The staff are friendly and attentive. I love Sally - always a pleasure to catch up with her and I’m always happy with how my hair turns out :)

This was my first visit to the salon Sophie cut my hair which is very fine and thin .. she gave good advise and took her time explaining what she was doing and why .. valuable advice also given re a product I was using . Overall a very nice experience and I shall be returning

More than 4 months since the last haircut and needing to find a new salon...Sophie was super friendly, professional and had great advice for getting my hair back to into condition. Just what I needed.
The infection safety measures were outstanding; I felt very comfortable.

All pre-visit instructions very clear and reassuring. The salon was very clean and arranged appropriately to keep clients and stylists safe. Great atmosphere. Felt great to be back!

I arrived today after lockdown unsure what to expect ....... but the second that I walked through the door I instantly felt reassured and at total ease. Mitch was his usual welcoming, cheerful and professional self and every single member of the team had a lovely smile on their face. To be honest, I have been counting 'the sleeps' since securing an appointment with Gabi ....... and, as ever, she didn't disappoint! Four months of no hair colouring was not a pretty sight ...... but I left the salon an hour later feeling great! Gabi is a magician!

I have been going to Bolierhouse for 23 years ..... and I was reminded of the reason today. Quite simply they are the most talented, creative and friendly hairdressing team around! Thank you all for being so fabulous!

Sophie was friendly and professional.

I was nervous about returning to the salon after being in lockdown for so long but the hygiene standards were adhered to and the stylists created a really cam atmosphere. Sophie was great and listened to exactly what I wanted! She did a really nice job of my highlights and I’m so happy with my cut and she also gave me some really helpful tips on how to maintain my style and colour. I’d definitely book in with her again!

Just couldn’t wait to have my hair cut! I got a lovely welcome at the door and was then ‘kitted up’ and escorted to my cubicle. It was great to see Vicky again. She did a brilliant job and my head literally feels much lighter.
Well done to Mitch also who has organised all the appointments for all us desperate clients.
