First time using this hair dressers and would definitely return, lovely salon, super friendly staff and posh coffee with biscuits! Massage chairs for hair washing, so relaxing and comfortable, i liked how the music wasnt to loud, some salons you cant hear yourself think. Joanne cut my hair exactly how I wanted it, you can tell its such a professional cut, had so many compliments. I love it! She was so friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth paying the extra for all the added bonuses and professional service.

The salon has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and Joanne made me feel very comfortable. She paid attention to my concerns and opinions about my hair and gave some advice, I'm very happy with my haircut. It was a small change but I think it has made a notable difference.

She was very attentive, listened carefully to what I wanted, and gave me great advice on the best style for my hair type. Her skills are top-notch, and she made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The result was exactly what I hoped for—my hair looks stylish ! A spontaneous decision to risk having my haircut in Newcastle yesterday proved to be more welcoming than I had expected after carefully considering which salon to choose. David Harvey Hairdressing got my vote, and my random choice of Graham turned out to be an inspired move. Whisper it around Newcastle, but it transpired that we had a lot in common, and we had previously mixed in the same circles in, shall we say, a different part of the world! The conversation flowed and was topped off with an excellent Cut & Finish. Despite now living 250 miles away, I hope to continue where we left off on a future visit. Thanks, Graham!

After deciding to shave my hair off I couldn't wait for Kay to do this for me. Kay as always delivered in making me feel comfortable and at ease with laughter and chatting, very pleased with the end result. Feel empowered.

My stylist was friendly, she made a good job of cutting it and putting some shape back in. It felt better after having a good cut as I hadn’t had it cut for a long time.

After choosing the wrong style on my previous cut with a other stlylist (my fault) Kay cut my hair and styled it just right and I’m very happy with the result.

Stacey is a miracle worker , not only do I come out looking great with fabulous hair she makes me feel better . We joke about hair and therapy and it’s true for a couple of hours she works her magic in this inclusive Salon where all are welcome and you feel so much better . This salon is a special place and filled with talented kind people . It’s really a great place .

Again an absolutely lovely afternoon spent with my elderly mum at David Harvey Hair. Kay is wonderful with my mam. Asking constantly if she is ok and how she wants her hair. She is always brilliant with me too. I always leave feeling like I won the lottery.

I was greeted at reception by a very friendly staff member and quickly shown to the chair my hairdresser uses. Michelle was very friendly and very professional. There was plenty of time to discuss my needs and the whole experience was excellent.
