TONI&GUY Gosforth opened in 2012. As a salon we pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards of customer service to each and every client. Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice and create hair that is individual and easy to live with, interpreting fashion trends with versatile wearable styles. Members of our Colour team hold the prestigious Wella Master Colour Expert accolade- their knowledge and expertise are on hand to advise you on the latest colours and techniques. We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair and the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry. Our wide range of haircare products include label.m and Moroccan Oil to keep your hair salon perfect until your next visit. For more information on our services please speak to our friendly reception team who will be happy to help. PARKING Our nearest car park is across the road on the opposite side of the salon, behind the shops. It's 30p an hour, maximum 2hours but we will top up your parking for you if we run over whilst in the salon. TONI&GUY HAIRSPA Bring out the best in your hair and wellbeing with the indulgent TONI&GUY HAIRSPA. We have six hair and scalp restoring in-salon treatments available. Hairspa has been designed to target your specific needs, whether it’s a deep condition to nourish your dry hair or a revitalising scalp treatment. Using expert head massage techniques combined with the award-winning label.m professional haircare range and hot towel wrap; you will feel and notice the improvement instantaneously. With tailored aftercare available to take home, you will continue to benefit from your treatment until your next appointment.

I'm not from the area,was passing and saw the salon was open on a Monday,decided that I wanted a one length bob on a whim,not usually the best idea as these things don't often go to plan. Did not meet my expectations

I went there thinking that they could do something different with my hair, but the result was not as expected. Besides making a cut that is not favorable for my type of hair that has enough volume and now I have even more that is not what I wanted, I feel bad for the stylist but I do not like sorry.

Popped in without an appointment and was seen to straight away. Loved the head massage with the shampoo. Stylist Corrie listened to what I wanted, explained both products and the cut as she went, which to my delight feels and looks wonderful.

I had an amazing experience today at Toni and Guy Gosforth !
Sam transformed my colour totally toned it down after a summer holiday with plenty of sun sea and swimming! Sophia did a fantastic cut giving me a bigger fringe which frames my face! Great shampoo off the young apprentice bounced out of the salon ?? feeling a million dollars!

After I was not happy last time, I was surprised by a phone call of The Salon and offered me a free wash, blow and dry as a making up for previous time. Difference in careful listening

I cannot remember the name of the person who did wash my hair and blow dried it. Neither the one who trimmed my fringe. My appointment was on the 1st of September at 12.30. What I can say is that I felt it was really rushed and when I was trying to tell the lady who was drying my hair not to put the oil in my hair but to mix it with the foam as Sophia did because the oil itself will make my hair go down as I have got really thin hair. And I told this clearly to the lady! But she said that it will not make a difference. But it turned out that it REALLY did make a difference because when Sophia mixed the oil with the foam and then put it on my hair the results were fab throughout the day which made me buy the shampoo and conditioner. But today when I just got home, after I finished at the Salon, my hair went completely down and it wasn't blow dried to the same quality as Sophia did! So I really was disappointed! I had to wash my hair again and blow dry it my self again! I felt I have waisted the money I paid to be fair.

colour looks excellent cut was average- lady who did the cut seemed very rushed, expect a more thorough job for price. Would however return if in area.

Back to Toni & Guy after a while away... and I'd forgotten what a good cut you get! The real test of short hair is the next day diy - does it play nicely with amateur hands...? Yes - because at T&G the cut is solid. Already booked my next appointment - and that's before you add in the friendly, unfussy service and good value pricing.

The whole experience was lovely. I went in and was immediately greeted with a friendly smile and had my jacket taken from me, robe tied and asked if I would like a drink. I was then sat down and Hollie had a consultation with me to find out my needs and wants. She understood what I was after straight away. I was then taken to get my hair washed and it was an amazing experience, finished off with a relaxing head massage. The colour is exactly what I was hoping for and the cut has made my hair look so healthy. Getting married on Sunday, this pamper was exactly what I needed to get away from all the wedding stress and just have a little bit of me time. Thanks Hollie and everyone else at the salon! :)

On the day I had a great service , as usual . I really couldn't fault the stylists on the day. Loved the colour and the style I left with looked great . The next day as I brushed my hair through , there were a few pieces of hair that felt uneven and I just wasn't feeling sure about the cut. Having had my hair cut there before by the same stylist I though is just call in and see what they said. ( I wasn't going in to complain) . Sadly I left feeling like a bit of an idiot, and not a valued customer. I will go back , as I think it's great usually but I think some work needs to be done on tact and customer service .
