About us

TONI&GUY Newcastle-upon-Tyne opened in the city centre in 1995, recently relocating to Haymarket. We are committed to providing the ultimate salon experience, paying great attention to customer service.

Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice and create hair that is individual and easy to live with, interpreting fashion trends with versatile wearable styles. Members of our salon are part of the TONI&GUY Session Team and have worked alongside the International Artistic Team on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week, bringing the latest trends from the catwalk to our clients.

We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair and the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry. Our wide range of haircare products include label.m, Kerastase, GHD, L’Oreal and Tangle Teezer to keep your hair salon perfect until your next visit.

STRENGTH IN STYLE
Strength in Style is now available in this salon, offering people affected by cancer specialist support and advice on hair care. This service includes styling pre, during and post treatment hair, and wig personalisation with the option to purchase synthetic and human hair wigs. Amazing as usual !! Matthew did a fantastic job of my colour and Tanya gave me an amazing cut and blow dry. Wouldn’t go anywhere else been coming to Toni and Guy since I was 17 and I’m now 41 just love it !!! So welcoming and talented

Had my hair cut on Saturday the stylist was lovely but don’t like my cut I’m going to my daughters wedding next week I’m upset as don’t know what to do regarding my cut it’s not what I expected didn’t want to upset the girl by saying anything would I be able to pop in on Monday afternoon it’s the only time I have available

Went in there with a bit of an odd request (getting mine and a friend's hair dyed blonde so that we could then use temporary dye to dye our hair blue and gold for a festival we were attending). They were informative, helpful and really friendly.

We were there for about two hours, all the staff seemed to be invested in how our hair turned out throughout and made the experience really fun and exciting. We were both very happy with the result. If I ever had the same request again (although that's unlikely), I know where I'm going!

I have had my hair styled in various different ways multiple times by Tanya. She did an absolutely amazing 'great gatsby' style up-do for my 23rd birthday, and the result looked even better than I could have imagined! I then had my hair curled and half pinned back for a University ball, of which I had millions of compliments on. I have booked in with Tanya for yet another up-do for my final year degree show, and another for my graduation also. She is 100% reliable and very skilled!

Libby really makes me feel comfortable.
Very professional and gives good easy hair advice. I love going to the salon now as I used to hate it. I hope Libby gets to see my message because I just think she’s a really good hair stylist. All the other staff are so nice too. ????
