About us

TONI&GUY Newcastle-upon-Tyne opened in the city centre in 1995, recently relocating to Haymarket. We are committed to providing the ultimate salon experience, paying great attention to customer service.

Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice and create hair that is individual and easy to live with, interpreting fashion trends with versatile wearable styles. Members of our salon are part of the TONI&GUY Session Team and have worked alongside the International Artistic Team on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week, bringing the latest trends from the catwalk to our clients.

We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair and the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry. Our wide range of haircare products include label.m, Kerastase, GHD, L’Oreal and Tangle Teezer to keep your hair salon perfect until your next visit.

STRENGTH IN STYLE
Strength in Style is now available in this salon, offering people affected by cancer specialist support and advice on hair care. This service includes styling pre, during and post treatment hair, and wig personalisation with the option to purchase synthetic and human hair wigs. I was seen to by Tanya today who, not only done a perfect job of tidying up my horrendously messy hair, she was extremely pleasant and very friendly, making for an extremely relaxed great experience. I shall hopefully be looking to book in with her again next time.

Had my highlights done with Nikita she always knows exactly what to do she is a miracle worker and after having a full head of highlights my hair has never felt so soft after she recommended the smart bond treatment. Given that I like my hair cut and styled a certain way I always come out of a hair dressers desperate to get home to wash and style it myself. Today I told Tanya the way I wanted it and she just cut and styled it perfectly. Definitely the best haircut I have had for years. I thought the booking service was great. Very pleasant when I called into the shop the day before. The salon seemed a friendly place. Lovely comfy seats while having my hair washed. All in all a first class service. I will definitely be going back.

After having my hair butchered by someone recommended to me by a friend, I decided to give Toni & Guy Newcastle a try. I was booked in for 6.20 pm being the only available appointment I could make after work, but shortly after I left the office I received a call to advise me that due to a cancellation I could go in at 5.40, this was very much appreciated.

When I arrived I received a very warm welcome and taken over for a seat. Shortly after my stylist Tanya came over and introduced herself. She took the time to find out what I wanted, discussed some ideas and made a plan. This all made me feel very much at ease and confident in Tanya as a stylist.

Needless to say I was not disappointed! Tanya explained what she was doing and why throughout. She gave me time to play with my hair to make sure I was happy with the length and texture. Tanya has made an amazing job and I can't recommend her highly enough, I won't be going anywhere else for a very long time!! Amazing experience from before I arrived to leaving and several days later I am so happy!!

I wasn't looking to being at the hairdressers' for two hours on the hottest day of the year but the salon was quiet and airconditioned. So I came out fresh as a daisy with beautifully coloured hair and looking very tidy. Shame I had to get all sweaty doing the garden with a strimmer.

TONI&GUY Newcastle-upon-Tyne opened in the city centre in 1995, recently relocating to Haymarket. We are committed to providing the ultimate salon experience, paying great attention to customer service.
