About us

TONI&GUY Newcastle-upon-Tyne opened in the city centre in 1995, recently relocating to Haymarket. We are committed to providing the ultimate salon experience, paying great attention to customer service.

Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice and create hair that is individual and easy to live with, interpreting fashion trends with versatile wearable styles. Members of our salon are part of the TONI&GUY Session Team and have worked alongside the International Artistic Team on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week, bringing the latest trends from the catwalk to our clients.

We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair and the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry. Our wide range of haircare products include label.m, Kerastase, GHD, L’Oreal and Tangle Teezer to keep your hair salon perfect until your next visit.

STRENGTH IN STYLE
Strength in Style is now available in this salon, offering people affected by cancer specialist support and advice on hair care. This service includes styling pre, during and post treatment hair, and wig personalisation with the option to purchase synthetic and human hair wigs. Tanya was really lovely. She began by explaining the precautions the salon had taken to make it covid safe which immediately put me at ease.
I had a cut with a blow dry finished with curls and am so so happy with it. Tanya is very skilled and very friendly and would recommend her to everyone.

From the moment I walked in I felt like I was at home! I felt anxious getting in to Newcastle because of the current situation, I suffer from Asthma and wearing a mask is difficult so seeing every one with face shields and masks eased my anxiety complete. First visit to a hairdressers since lockdown ended and my first ever visit to a Toni and Guy salon. Everything was excellent- the salon felt clean and safe. As usual, another great hair cut. Libby is great at coming up with new ideas rather than just going with the norm. She cut me a fringe in which I was a bit worried about (if I’m honest) but it looks great and I’ve had loads of compliments. I always leave the salon feeling great.

Excellent haircut despite stylist And myself having to wear PPE, I felt safe as there were only a few customers in the salon, there were friendly staff, who were very professional and it was all above board in terms of being Covid 19 secure! Thank you for a great haircut too!
