Perfect colour, incredibly friendly and fast process

Lovely experience in the salon today having my colour done by Millie and cut by Gemma. First time but will definitely be back.

It's nearly been a year since I've been coming to It's Science but I wouldn't consider going anywhere else now. Gemma nails the brief every time; my hair is in the best condition it's been in and I've had so many compliments about the style and colour. Add in the friendly vibe and ethos, I would recommend 100%

Third visit back to this lovely salon, the team are always so welcoming. Was very undecided on what to do with my hair colour to cover my grey roots. Gemma went through lots of options and I trusted her expertise and left it too her. I am so pleased with the final colour as she said I would be. I have curly hair so Emma then defined my curls when drying. I absolutely loved my cut and my curls looked amazing. Looking forward to my next visit.

Had a lovely experience for my first cut with my daughter. Great atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable.
Went back for my second stage cut a few weeks later and again had an amazing hair treatment by Millie and top up cut by Gemma. Had lots of compliments since!

Cut and blow dry today. First time at ‘It’s Science’ . Lovely relaxed experience and will definitely be going back.

New to the City and wanted a fresh look, absolutely lovely service, great set up with no big mirrors staring back at you! Shanelle was a dream, chatty and welcoming.

Honestly any of my curly girls out there go and get a curly cut here. I was so nervous about having my hair done as I had not had my hair cut in 2years and everyone was so re assuring and made me feel like I was in safe hands. I get so at ease after and didn't even ask for a mirror to watch my cut as I knew it was going to be amazing. They took the time to individually coil my hair and the end result literally made me cry. I have never liked a hair cut before and I am absolutely obsessed with my hair now. Thankyou so much to Gemma and the girls, you actually have no idea how much you've helped me.

I have decided to do the two part curly hair treatment and cut with Gemma. I loved my time at Its Science. Not only are you greeted so warmly by all staff, you are also given a full breakdown on your hair and what it needs - parallel to what service you came in for. Its Science prides itself on being ecologically conscious. From the moment I walked through the door I was offered dairy free milk options for my tea, the products they used in my hair were environmentally friendly and offer vegan alternatives, even the towels are biodegradable. The salon is also aware of its clientele by respecting different cultures in the surrounding area. And to top it all off my new hair looks great! I can’t wait to come back in three weeks for part two of my curly hair journey!

Both Shanelle and Gemma were fab - friendly, enthusiastic and interested in what I wanted for my hair. I’ve honestly never had such a fun, chilled and enjoyable time at a hairdressers. In fact it’s more than a hairdressers, it’s an experience. Totally put a spring in my step for the day ahead and left with hair that I can’t stop touching or looking at! I always did my hair at home out of fear of it going badly or not the way I wanted it to in a hairdressers. This salon made me feel welcome and comfortable, it was easy to discuss what I wanted done to my hair and my hair has always come out looking 10/10.

What can I say about this Salon. The no mirrors/ vegan element and the aesthetics/feel of the salon definitely ticks a few boxes. But it is the people who work here and the energy and atmosphere that keep me coming back. Its just a lovely few hours, chatting (or not, depending on your preference). The time goes in no time.
Gemma and colleagues are so passionate about hair, and it shows in the results. The first time I had my hair cut with Gemma, I said it made me feel like myself again, and that was before my new amazing colour. Thank you!

I was really nervous about getting my hair cut at a proper salon for the first time but I was made to feel very at home and relaxed. I've never really been sure what to do with my curly hair but Gemma was really happy to talk me through my options and answer all my questions. I walked away absolutely loving my new hair and I love it even more every time I see it! Thank you so much!!

What a lush salon! Absolutely love the decor and vibes. I am always anxious getting my hair cut and I was going for something out of my comfort zone but Gemma reassured me it would suit me. And I absolutely love it! Had the best hair wash too (sorry I don’t remember that lady’s name) so relaxing. Also the little slabs the coffees are served on are hella cute… 10/10 would recommend.

Was my first time visiting the salon and i’ll definitely be back. Everyone was lovely and so friendly. The environment itself was clean and I loved the plants/flowers everywhere. It’s also such a positive experience not having to stare at yourself in a mirror during the appointment, it made me feel far more relaxed than normal. After looking around locally for somewhere that specialises in naturally curly hair cuts I booked an appointment with Gemma. From the moment I walked in I felt at ease. The team were very friendly and the atmosphere very relaxing. Gemma asked all about my hair and talked through my options and what she was going to do. I left the salon with amazing curls, the cut makes them look so much better plus tips on how to look after them. I have to say this is the best hairdresser I have ever been to. The whole experience was outstanding I was very impressed. I would recommend to anyone especially if you have naturally curly hair . Can't wait to go back for my next appointment.

Always get my haircut in London, been looking for a good place in Swansea and this place was perfect! Loved my colour, was very blonde and faded into my previous colour perfectly! Also the cut was just what I asked for! Definitely will be coming back, everyone was also very friendly!

Thoroughly enjoyed my first curly cut. Never worked with my curls before and everything was explained to me and worked around what I wanted. Have my second part of the consultation booked for a few weeks time and looking forward to seeing how it’s settled. Loved not having mirror in front… such a brilliant concept.
