This review is following my 2nd visit to the Salon. 1st time I had an all over colour and Gemma cut my hair. I've always home dyed my hair but it's got to a stage where the grey is more challenging. I've had hair coloured a couple of times in other salons but have been disappointed as always never quite covered all grey and faded quickly. I took a chance at Its Science and cant rate highly enough. Be prepared to be there a few hours but that reflects the care and attention given. Not a single strand of grey after the first colour and a lovely colour which hasn't really faded. The cut was perfect. Following regrowth I have recently been back for a root touch up and Shannelle recommended a toner through the length. Again didn't disappoint and every grey covered with a lovely shiny rich colour. I'm so pleased and can't praise highly enough. The salon has a friendly vibe - you sit at a large table - no mirror - which is surprisingly calming! Although there is the option of sitting in front of a mirror. The girls are very friendly and welcoming. The whole experience is different to any I've had previously and I can't recommend enough.

Just simply the best hair salon, every time I visit I leave with fantastic looking hair. This time the most gorgeous copper tones getting me so many compliments. The salon itself is just so chilled and relaxed and Gemma and her team are all lovely. Can’t wait for my next visit !

I love the set up of the salon which is relaxed and informal, it feels like a friends get together rather than just getting my hair done. The team colouring expertise and advice is superb. This was my first time visiting the salon with My request being... I really wanted to go/ feel blonder after several years of balayage. Well I honestly can not believe this is MY actual hair, it’s so blonde but feels healthy and shiny and even better than what I imagined! First time at the salon and I was there awhile and made to feel so welcome, a truly relaxed atmosphere whilst never scrimping on their professionalism! What a set up! What a salon! What a team! Thanks for making me really, really love my hair for the first time in years!

Honestly the best salon!! I converted to its science around 9 months ago and never looking back the nicest group of gals in such a beautiful place. I trust Gemma and the no mirror cut and colour implicitly. I feel like a million pound every time I walk out the door

It’s Science provides a wonderful, friendly, inclusive environment. Meg has never felt comfortable going to the hairdressers or been able to find a style that they like. Gemma was extremely patient and professional and the end result was fantastic! I can’t recommend them enough!

Really love my new hair colour and cut. Gemma took the time to listen to what I wanted and love the new colour. A lovely calm relaxed environment. Looking forward to the next visit.

Every time I get my hair done at it’s science they surpass all expectations. They always meet my needs in every way, and listen to what I want and give me exactly that. I’m not exaggerating when I say they’re the best salon I’ve ever been to, and definitely the best in Swansea. All of the stylists are very creative, but they won’t do anything with your hair that you don’t want.
Not to mention the environment is lovely. The decor is SO nice, the products are vegan, and there’s a really lively atmosphere.
I’ve been going to them for 2 years, and can’t thank them enough for always giving me amazing hair.

Right from the start the team was very kind and informative. I went in without a clue as to what I wanted and they helped immensely with making up my mind.
Everyone's friendly and knowledgeable, they'll cater to your needs. It's like a tailor-made experience just for you. I'll definitely be going back soon.

I’ve been coming to It’s Science for just over a year now and always thoroughly enjoy my time there. The atmosphere is like no other salon and I always leave absolutely in love with my hair. Gemma explains everything in detail and ensures you have knowledge about the process. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

This was my first time at the Salon and I'm so happy I did some research and went with my gut on this one. I received a friendly welcome when I arrived and everything was designed around customer needs. I had one of the best cuts I've had in years and left feeling really pleased. Will definitely be back.

Gemma, and her team provide a five star service from start to finish. I trusted Gemma and her extensive knowledge from the start. She explained everything though out the visit, and made sure that I was comfortable throughout. The salon is relaxed, and everyone made me feel welcome. Every time I go to it’s science they make me fall in love with my hair! Today I went in with some instagram photos of the colour I wanted and Ryan absolutely nailed it. Also loved chatting with the whole it’s science team whilst I was having my hair done (LOVE the no mirrors!). Can’t wait for my next appointment!!

I find going to the hairdressers really hard due to social anxiety, and the team are an absolute dream. Made you feel so welcome as soon as you walk in, the Salon is absolutely gorgeous and not having to stare at myself while having my hair cut was a breath of fresh air!
