This was my second visit to it science and I cannot praise them enough. They've managed to get me from black to peach in 2 sittings! And I'm so obsessed with my hair

The team at Its Science are super. They listen to exactly what you want, offer advice / guidence to what they feel will work best for you and then work their magic. I can not wait to see their Christmas tree in all its spectacular glory, I hope Gems dad has survived putting it up. What a star.

Its Science is unique in a number of ways, all of them good! From the frankly inspired no mirrors, open table concept to the incredible colours and cuts with sustainability and brilliant results at the heart of everything they do.
Its Science is the first place I have ever trusted to bleach or colour my hair and I could not be happier with it, or with the experience.
Gemma has created something really special. Can't wait to see what her and her awesome team (family) do next!

All I can say is WAW, what a fantastic team, they took me from awful box dye build up to basically a unicorn mane! My hair feels and looks fantastic and the service was second to none, from the second you step in the shop the team can’t do enough for you! Will definitely be a regular customer!

Such a lovely, calm and relaxed salon. Staff are so friendly and chatty - and my hair turned out perfectly, very happy with the experience and would highly suggest it to all of my friends and family.

I had a complete colour change and I couldn't be happier with my new colour and a Fringe. The salon has a very welcoming & chilled vibe and you have the choice of sitting without a mirror in front of you. I was there for a few hours, the chair's are very comfortable, there was room for me to get my laptop out allowing me to catch up on a little bit of work and I was offered refreshments through out the duration. Between Deonne and Gemma, they had some great ideas, can't wait to go back.

First time having my hair done here, I was there for a few hours because I had a big colour change and was made to feel comfortable from start to finish. Very very happy with the final outcome of my hair done by Ryan. The other Stylists were also very friendly and welcoming. It's science is the place to be! If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. ??

3rd time at this salon, and absolutely will be going back. The atmosphere is really friendly and you can tell that the staff like working there, sitting round the table instead of having to stare at yourself for hours is great and makes the whole process feel really social and fun.
I went with a really bold change in colour (Bright pink!) and was given great advice and told about which colours would fade and how to maintain it all.
Also I really appreciate the opening hours, being able to fit it in after work instead of taking up hours of my weekend is fantastic

As soon as I walked into the salon you had a warm welcome which is extremely reassuring when it is your first visit. I am really fussy with my hair and I was a little apprehensive, but they put me at ease straight away. I did notice there were no mirrors and the layout wasn't a stereotypical hair salon however it enhanced the customer experience. Deonne was extremely professional and knowledgable and I felt my hair was in safe hands. I would highly recommend Its Science and they also cater for full time workers with their late night opening hours.

Great first appointment with Gemma, lovely modern salon and so relaxed. Very happy with my hair. Grace is a trainee there, she was also so lovely and welcoming. Overall very professional, friendly salon and vegan products too!!

Absolutely love this salon!! Love Gemma, last week I had a total transformation from blonde to brunette & I love it!! Gemma definitely knows her stuff!! The salon is so friendly I’ve never been to such an open and amazing salon!! It’s becoming a social thing for me ☺️

Third time at this salon today. Love the plants, the library books the lack of mirrors. Gemma makes having your hair done fun! She puts you at your ease and is professional at the same time. Over the moon with my colour and cut can’t wait to go back!

Went to its science with muddy hair after a charity mud run and well I came out as if I'd been given a new head of hair! This salon is amazing they treat you like your someone special and all so friendly and welcoming you'd swear you've known them years. By far the best salon around and they are all hair wizards.

Absolutely amazing! The salon never fails to do outstanding work from the moment you walk in to moment you leave they treat you like your something really special and instantly feel like friends you've known for years! The service you get for your hair well mine felt like a new head of hair they are honestly magic with their hands!

Got my Hair Color done today ,simply loved the tone .Both Ryan and Deonne made sure that the color was exactly what I had in mind .Just perfect. And what a lovely team they are ! Ryan is simply amazing so helpful he just knew what I was thinking every time.And Deonne is so lovely , sincere with her work . Thanks guys , hope to see you again very soon .

This place always gives me a relaxed feeling as you sit around the table with everyone else & no barriers between us! Gemma is very attentive to everyone and very knowledgeable about her art! I trust her completely :-)

The best salon I have ever visited. You feel comfortable and at ease as soon as you walk through the door... no awkward small talk or staring at yourself in the mirror. The staff are so genuine and friendly that it’s just a lovely experience from start to finish... and of course you are sure to leave with fantastic hair!!

Love the salon the best I’ve been to ! Feel fab going here you all treat me like a normal human being which is great because in some salons if your not the typical super beauty they look down on you ! Grace is amazing very helpful very caring and my hair is always lush ! All the other staff chat to you as well love it ! It is very unique place this is what Swansea has needed love it

This is my second time going to Its Science, and this time was purely for maintenance of my hair, compared to last time, where we completely changed my hair!

The entire salon is beautiful, service is incredible, relaxed, friendly and generally amazing.

One thing I LOVE is that Gemma will honestly tell me if something isn’t doable or won’t be as I imagine- this is incredible because I’ve been to so many places that say ‘yep, I’ll do that’ and it doesn’t turn out the way I want it to.

Everyone in the salon (including myself) finished with fantastic hair, and to risk being cliche, stood a little bit taller and smiled a bit more.

I can’t wait for my next appointment!

I love, love, love hanging out at it’s science. After hating my hair for so many years I’m finally starting to love that too.

I hadn’t had my hair cut for over a year after a bad experience at a different salon and I’m so glad I chose to book at Its Science. Deonne talked me through all the options after I showed her what I wanted to achieve and I couldn’t fault her at all. Made me feel at ease straight away. Sitting in front of a mirror for hours always put me off getting my hair done but the no-mirror experience was brilliant. I was free to read, or use my phone and was offered drinks all the way through and all the staff are so lovely.
Thank you to Gemma and all her staff for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I’ll definitely be back ????

Wonderful welcome, great staff, so friendly and attentive to clients. A very relaxed and happy atmosphere, it's like have a coffee and chat at a friend's house. The hairstyling and course are beautiful. I had a balayage with silver tint and my hair feels so soft. Highly recommended!

I can’t even put into words how incredible my experience was at its science. The second I sat down I was served hot fresh coffee with milk and sugar on the side PLUS sweets. It came on a piece of wood which was such a cool touch. Gemma was so interested in everything I had to say about my hair and my personal life! I was so impressed not just by Gemma but every staff member! I cannot wait to return & recommend to everyone I know!
