Lovely, stylish salon. Always a pleasure to visit. To start, the reception experience is always friendly, professional and efficient. A choice of refreshments is offered on arrival, but it’s rare to wait long. It really feels a bit special at this salon! The stylist always discusses what the plan for your hair is going to be, and all your own ideas are taken into account and advised upon with honesty. In my case, I have absolute trust in my stylist to give me the most flattering cut possible. What’s great is that even senior stylists blow dry your style, and this is a time to ask questions and benefit from the wealth of knowledge they can provide. When it’s time to leave, after such a positive experience, it’s always great to look around all the fascinating shops in Mumbles and I always visit one of the many coffee shops and eateries and sometimes an ice cream parlour, depending on the time of year. Lara Johnson Lifestyle is located amongst Mumbles Top Shops in Newton Road.

Kris is super talented and always cuts my hair as I request. He listens and engages with me. . Does my colour exactly as I want. It’s a lovely salon and I always enjoy my time there.

Lizzie is always friendly and confident. She is well informed about hair colouring and always listens and gives advise on any issues I might have.

I had my annual 3 months colour and cut and blow dry, and as always had good experience and happy with all my appointments.

Alex is just amazing. How she puts up with my indecisive nature, I will never know. She always knows what suits and is super honest. She takes so much time and care to talk me through anything, listening to what I like and describe. The results are always what I ask for, and I feel so happy with the outcome each time. Every time I have a colour, I am happy that the greys are covered so well and the right amount of foils used following what I describe. I love coming to Lara’s because of the time and care staff, particularly Alex, give. Thank you so much!

I've not been able to get to the salon for way too long, so really pleased with my hair. I was really happy with advice to leave the front alone and colour the rest. The colour blended I really well and I loved the cut.

Second perm with Sam, she did an amazing job again.
