Nicky Clarke Hair Salon

Regrettably, I cannot leave 0 stars, but I must share my disappointing experience at the salon. I went for a full head of highlights and a haircut. However, I left with patchy highlights, so I contacted the salon, and they asked me to return for a fix. Sadly, the second visit resulted in my hair being completely ruined, with clumps falling out and my curls severely fried. They took no responsibility and didn't provide a refund or show any sympathy. Even speaking to the salon manager, Martin, yielded no resolution. I left the salon in tears with my hair wet falling out. The customer service was the worst i’ve ever experienced, especially this being a high end hair salon.
I highly advise people with curly hair to avoid this salon as they seemed untrained in handling it. This whole experience has been the worst, and now my hair is ruined just in time for my birthday.

I leave the salon with a great haircut and one which I can replicate when I’m home. It always grows out really well, a sign of an excellent haircut

Haircut excellent really pleased, however it’s only 4 days and you can’t tell it’s been cut. It’s probably a misunderstanding but I should have asked for it shorter.

Colette has been my stylist for 7 years and that’s for a good reason. It’s so hard to go from jet black to blond. She slowly recoloured my hair taken into careful consideration the health of my hair. I get compliments on a daily about the health and colour. She is also so warm and nice to talk to. I Highly recommend her.

Tommie is a brilliant colourist and a lovely guy. Yesterday he did my colour and then blow dried my hair as I wasn’t having a cut this time - I left looking and feeling great! Thanks Tommie xx

I am going to start chemo on Friday and I have been told that I am going to lose my hair. In order to try and adjust to the fact my long beautiful hair is going to fall out, I decided to cut it short. Harvey understood exactly the look I was going for and styled it beautifully. I was so happy the end result. He was attentive, considerate and made me feel really good about having my hair cut, which was a big deal to me as I've never had it short. He is an excellent stylist and I'll definitely come and see him again and I've already recommended him to my mum and sister!

I had the colour done with Megan and the Cut with Jess. They both did an outstanding job. I felt like my hair was in great hands throughout. They both took care of me really well. Will definitely keep coming back.

What I love about coming into the salon is how relaxed it feels- but still A Treat. Everyone’s lovely, they all get on with each other which makes the right vibe and they’re REALLY good at what they do. I love my six weekly treat. And, always come away with natural but striking colour (Harvey) and a brilliant cut (Sunny).

I have being going to Nicky Clarke for almost a year and always get seen by Jessica. She is incredibly talented and always provides me with a cut that is exactly what I have asked for. I am left beyond pleased with my haircut on every visit and her styling skills are second to none. She always goes above and beyond providing advice on how to keep my hair healthy and in good condition between visits. Jess is also very friendly and puts me at ease, which makes me look forward to every visit!

There is never any pushy up-selling, which in the past is always a turn off for me with salons. I trust Michelle when she says what is needed to make my hair fabulous!

I've known Tommie for years and he is an expert in what he does. I have long hair and always come with a picture thats almost impossible to achieve however Tommie is always honest, he takes his time, looks after me and makes sure he is explaining every part of the process! I would never go to anyone else! I absolutely LOVE my hair, I have received so many compliments and it hasn't even been 24hrs yet!! I will be back in June and look forward to seeing you all again. Tommie is an absolute asset to your team. Thank you for everything you do for me especially your patience!x

Great experience!! Harvey was very friendly and I absolutely love my finished result of my cut! Will definitely be sticking with Harvey in the future for all my cuts!

I cannot recommend Tommie enough. He takes time to know his client and his suggestions and ideas are creative and in line with what I wanted.

Tommie always works hard to get the natural colour that I like. He adds subtle tones in and I’m always pleased with the result.

Sunny as always cut my hair beautifully. I’m very pleased with the result and look forward to my next appointment.

Faultless. Im gradually going lighter and colour is great, advice honest. Great head massage (never to be under estimated) and the girl blow drying my hair was also great. All in all a very relaxing experience

I really do not know how Sunny recalls my likes and dislikes...... my fringe is handled like precious cargo and comes out just how I like it every time

I had Harvey and Sunni but I put my review under H last time so I’m mixing it up! Just a great combo of creative geniuses. I told them last night- *every* time I come, I walk out over the moon. Finally, at the age of 50, I’ve found how I like my hair and I feel glam and a lot younger! It’s light and beautifully cut and naturally coloured. I just woke up after coming last night, stumbled into the bathroom, and I still looked the business.

Really good haircut, efficient staff and pleasant friendly atmosphere.

As always, Harvey was amazing and taught me new skills for my curly hair routine! I cant thank him enough, he explained very clearly and thoroughly what I needed to do to maintain my hair. He's given me the confidence boost I needed to do this.
