I spent a lovely afternoon getting my hair done by Tommie. I cannot believe how my hair looks and feels. Definitely needed after months away from the salon

So happy with my hair cut. Salon was lovely and quiet and clean. Jess was super welcoming and friendly; checking back with me if the length was okay, how I wanted it styled, if I was happy at every stage or if I wanted to alter something. Talked through some future hair ideas and gave me advice on what she’d recommend. Also recommend a hair oil for my type of hair with no pressure to buy and advising me to think about it and look into it for next time. Very calming and chill vibes, much appreciated after a stressful day. Have already recommended to several of my girlfriends.

From the moment you walk into the salon, you’re made to feel welcome and literally the pampering begins! Tommie has a unique way of making sure you understand the science behind the products he uses and he always gives his honest opinion on the results you will achieve. This level of service, is exactly why I’ve remained a loyal customer for over 10 years now. Thank you Tommie and all the staff for always making my experience at Nicky Clarke, a happy one.

Another wonder/happy/safe experience with Colette and then Michelle to transform me from the lockdown mess back into me, felt feeling like a supermodel!

Like many others I hadn’t been for a haircut since before the pandemic. I also hadn’t had my hair cut by Harvey before.

The whole experience from start to finish was brilliant. The salon has been arranged in a covid secure manner which made me feel comfortable and relaxed.

All the staff were super friendly as always and Harvey was brilliant. He listened to what I wanted and I got exactly that! I’m very happy with the end result and will be booking with Harvey again soon.

Michelle couldn’t have been nicer!! She is so patient and calm and really made me feel at ease and listened to. She explained everything to me so I understood and managed my expectations and really took her time to comfort my worries. All the staff were lovely and so welcoming and friendly!!

It was the first time Kate had cut my hair and usually ‘first’ cuts are not always great. This time however it was very good and Kate was terrific, she made sure I was 100% happy with my cut. I would highly recommend her to anyone considering Clarke’s Salon.

I visited your salon yesterday, excited after reading reviews and having waited a year due to the current restrictions. After clearly explaining my style requirements I was shocked to discover after the first hair treatment, the stylist had coloured my hair grey (not blonde). At this point he stated that it was OK, it was ‘Ash’ blonde and expected me to be satisfied with the result. I challenged this, I am 25 years of age, I certainly did not want grey hair. The situation developed and I spent 5 hours in the salon, having three colour sessions and none of these resulted in anything that can be considered professional. The results actually resemble a very poor ‘Ombre’. I requested a full colour with highlights and yet underneath, after three attempts, the hair root remains unchanged from the original colour in places. The style is completely uneven, so even if the result of the new colour had not been to my satisfaction, the skill level of the stylist was so poor I am left with patchy colour, some of the roots are dark, some of my hair is blonde, there are grey areas and it looks like a very poor attempt by someone who did this themselves at home. I was charged £200 and was in tears when I left the salon, as I now have to allow my hair to settle for several weeks before any attempt should be made to rectify these mistakes.

I had highlights and lowlights by Colette and cut and finish by Jessica. Absolutely delighted with the result ? Both took great care to make sure the finished style was perfect. Total professionals!

Martin first started cutting my hair four years ago and each time I have thought it looks better than it ever has. But since the post CoVid cut last week and the colour Tommie applied I look better than I ever have (and ten years younger it seems, according to my friend who is ten years younger) and that made me feel good too! I trust them and the trust is well placed. Thank you.

Megan is an experienced colour technician whom is super efficient, warm and bubbly. She works really hard and highlighted my hair beautifully, I love the colour and am a very happy customer whom keeps returning.

I was nervous going to the salon since lockdown was eased. I had no reason to be. Harvey out me at ease straight away. I was looked after so well by Harvey, who really listened to what I wanted and offered suggestions that demonstrated skill and professionalism. Any fellow curly girls will know that going to the hairdressers can be a nerve wracking time.... but Harvey knows what he is doing. My hair looks and feels great, I am so happy with the results.
I was comfortable and relaxed, which I'm the current climate is a rarity! Thank you Harvey. I would absolutley recommend this stylist.

I love coming to this Salon because apart from the lovely quality and atmosphere of the Salon, the staff are all so friendly and super efficient. Thank you Martin and Tommy. 4 months of lockdown has not been kind to me. Dry, Frizzy and uncoloured, you turned me around to almost unrecognising myself this morning.

This was my first visit to Nicky Clarke so I was a little nervous as I don’t go for haircuts very often, but I’ll definitely be returning, Jess listened to what I was going for, me gave me a cut and style that I was really happy with, despite my hair being a bit awkward to work with, she did an incredible job and I’m really happy with it, the lady at the reception desk was also lovely! Everyone was adhering to covid rules etc and wore masks and were all spaced out the entire time, I’ll definitely be returning!

Superb highlights by Colette followed by a fabulous cut and style by Michelle. My work colleagues said I looked 10 years younger!

It was the first time I had really been back "out" since the 12th April when things relaxed so I confess I was a bit nervous. However as soon as I walked into the salon, everything was really safe and spaced out, everyone was really friendly too which instantly put me at ease. Jessica was really professional as ever and helped me figure out what I wanted to do with my hair. I love the result and it was still a great experience - thanks!
