Yesterday’s appointment with Jess was great. It’s always a treat getting my hair done but, obviously, the current situation does add an element of anxiety. The salon feels really safe, super organised and with all safety and hygiene processes in place.

Jess was excellent. I was undecided on what I wanted and she gave good advice on what would suit me, Showed pictures beforehand to help my decision. Very friendly, good finish. Felt un-rushed and she spent extra time taking a bit more off afterwards which I asked for. Salon was spotless, Covid friendly with all rules followed. Would absolutely recommend Jess.

One gripe which I am certain is not Jess's fault and she is probably unaware it even happened. I booked on line and the price quoted on the website was £45. I received an email confirmation which also stated £45. When I paid at the reception desk after the cut I was told it was £55 and thats how much my card was charged. This shouldn't happen.

Always a pleasure seeing Jess for a haircut, she’s always professional, positive and cheerful. Second cut after lockdown. The locks came off in a big way at first one and she’d done such a good job it had lasted 9 weeks. New style developing really nicely now.

Meghan Colourist and Martin Director both deliver the highest standard of colour and cut I have ever received and the standard is always exceptional.

This is the BEST hairdressers in Birmingham. I would always go here for my hair to be cut, styled or highlighted. Jess always does an amazing job on my hair and gives me good advice and tips on haircare. I trust Jess totally, she is professional and friendly as are all the team. Definitely an A star salon, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Wow, what can I say! Under the current Covid-19 circumstances I was very nervous about going for a haircut but I have to say the salon staff made me feel comfortable and safe. My hair stylist 'Jess' is an amazing stylist and totally blew me away with my haircut! She remembered me from my last appt (which was a year ago!!) and totally made me feel relaxed, safe. I went in with an old, tired looking head of hair but come out with a fresh, fantastic, new hairstyle making me feel on top of this world!!! THANK YOU JESS!!! I have definitely found my hair stylist and salon!

I was so looking forward to my 1st hair appointment after lockdown at Nicky Clarke, Birmingham...and I was NOT disappointed!
I wanted a complete change- from long to short hair. Jess listened to my ideas and (thankfully) explained why some styles wouldn’t work with my hair; and then came back with some great suggestions.
After an excellent colour treatment from Megan (as always), Jess started on the cut.
I must say- it’s probably the best short hair cut I’ve ever had!!

My friends have said it’s taken years off me. And I agree! Very, very happy indeed. I feel like a new woman- it’s boosted my confidence so much. Just the ticket after months of feeling cooped-up and a bit ‘down’.

Being my first non-supermarket outing for 4 months I didn’t know what to expect in terms of the post lockdown salon experience but everything was super organised, super clean and very comfortable. Everyone was great- and the lady who washed my hair was so good I nearly nodded off I was so relaxed!

Fabulous experience- very safe and very, very happy. And that’s why I’ll always go back to NC in Birmingham. Big thank you to the lady on reception too- always very welcoming and a good laugh!
