Last Saturday (2nd June) I visited to get a new toner colour on my hair (following a previous bleach/colour back in April)

Matt mixed up a lovely shade of deep purple and applied it while we chatted away. He’s a total professional , an expert at colours and very knowledgable /friendly.

This shade of purple is totally chameleon like. In some lights it looks like a deep dark red, but in other lights it’s a very vivid purple and I love it.

As it lightens I’m sure it wil contine to transform colour and delight -maybe into a Pastel shade of purple or mystic violet?

After the colour Pam finished off the styling and very kindly tidied up the back of my hair. She was equally friendly / warm and professional - so i’m booked in for a hair cut with her in a few weeks.

As an Art Director stylish she commands a higher prize , but I’m a firm believer that experience should be reflected in the price you pay .

I’d also like to say that everyone else who I chatted with / washed my hair (staff on reception + the assistant team) were equally delightful and welcoming .

I had my very long hair cut to a very chic shoulder length style by Sonya who listened to my needs and interpreted them into a stylish new cut. She also blow- dried my hair skillfully, into tousled waves. Left the salon feeling great ! Appreciated the tea too :)

Great cut lot's of advice will bck in a month

’m a pregnant woman suffering from a variety of irritating pregnancy related symptoms, one of which was making it impossible to style my short pixie haircut. I visited the salon for advice earlier this week with the intention of getting my head shaved, as I am not able to wash or style my hair, which has caused me embarrassment at work and is very upsetting.

Jess and the whole team were incredible sympathetic, reassuring me about a very short haircut and offering great advice.

I visited the salon for my cut today and Jess was brilliant, I cannot thank her enough. She was sympathetic, understanding, hugged me, understood why I was crying as all my hair was cut off. My hair is a lot shorter than I have ever had it before, but it’s necessary for health reasons and I know it will grow back. Jess made what wasn’t a nice experience a lot lot better for me and I really hope you can pass this feedback on.

I highly recommend Toni & Guy B’ham. I’ve been booking with them for over a decade now and I haven’t been anywhere else since. My 5 year old daughter loves it too. The staff are very friendly and give you the best experience possible.

Caspar did a great job cutting my hair, I was really pleased. He gave me styling tips along the way and advised me how to dry it in different ways to have two different styles. He was friendly, courteous and easy to chat to and did a great head massage too. Many thanks!

This is a really friendly salon. Also, excellent customer service. Casper was so friendly & has given me a super haircut, just what I wanted. He gave me tips on doing my hair at home which no hair stylist has done before. He is a real asset to the salon. Also, whilst I was waiting a lady came in to ask about hair colouring. That receptionist was so helpful, she even went to get a stylist to speak with the lady. That is a great example of customer service. I would really recommend this salon & Casper.

I Felt the initial consultation was a little rushed and as a result have got something different from what I imagined. He was very chatty and talked me through what he was doing so understand what he was trying to do however I am not happy with the final look. I also had a massive surprise when it came to pay I my bill, I didn’t realise until I got home and checked the receipt but he had given me two hair teatments I hadn’t asked for that resulted in an extra £30 to my bill (bear in mind I’m a student and can only afford to go there on the student days - these treatments aren’t included in the student deals) I also had a different stylist to cut my hair and feel the initial consultation was also a little rushed therefore not got hair I feel 100% comfortable with, however she was really lovely and ensured I can go back if I have any problems with the style.

This experience has upset me as previously I had a great experience and Jim saved my hair before my 21st birthday. And now feel little reserved about going back.

I’m not one for leaving reviews but It’s been a while since I’ve been for a “nice haircut”. Used to go to T&G for years and then stopped due to time and busy work/life and cheap haircuts were easier. Given everyone looks the same nowadays I treated my self to a proper consultation and hair cut today and can’t recommend Casper enough, thorough, good banter and very professional. Will continue to use him to watch my cow lick get curlier and curlier.

Absolutely loved Pam! It was the first time I met her she made me feel so at ease. I have very curly thick hair and she managed to completely smooth it out. I have had my hair blow dried straight umpteen times in the last 20 yrs and PAm managed to get it completely perfect. Thank you

***** was very pleasant and made me feel comfortable and welcome. I explained I wanted a curly blow dry and that I needed to be out the salon before 10 to get to a meeting. Whilst my hair was being dried I was distracted with work emails. It was only towards the end that had noticed the way ***** had been styling my hair which was nothing like I had asked for. This was at 9.50am. ***** was really apologetic and went to get a senior stylist to fix it. Another senior stylist then also came to help as I was then in a rush to make my meeting. The final result was ok - but probably one of the worst blow drys I've ever had. I was told by the senior stylist they wouldn't charge me as way of an apology. I said I would feel bad not paying anything so would be fine to pay something, as in not the full amount but something. I was then taken to the till and charged the full price! I was in such a rush to get to my meeting that I had to leave although extremely annoyed about the whole situation by this point. By the same evening my hair looked worse than when I had first arrrived in the salon, none of the style and stayed in. It's usual when I've been to a professional salon for a curly blow that it last for up to 5 days. I am extremely disappointed with the whole experience on reflection and unlikely to return to the salon again.

This morning Matt worked some colour magic on my hair changing it from dark brown to a fusion of two blues all over. I love the end result and it catches the light to show the colour off really well.

Had my hair coloured today. Wasn't quite sure what I wanted done. Jim was really helpful and was able to give me suggestions. I was really pleased with the outcome. Emmet, who styled my hair did an excellent job, and whilst he was doing this was giving me lots of useful tips, which I really appreciate. As with my previous appointments the atmosphere was friendly and relaxing. Staff are very welcoming and professional. Very pleased with the service and end result. Thanks guys !

It was so easy to book an appoinment online. The stylist had a great attitude. Really listened to how I wanted my hair to be styled and done a great job. I would definitely reccomend him.

Loved my cut Pam is a babe!

Normally I bleach my hair platinum but wanted to keep it more natural on the roots but a nice bright ICY blonde, instead I walked out a very, VERY uneven dull grey.
Really not the correct tone and absolutely nothing like what I explained or hoped it would look like :( as my colour is a light blonde anyway I know this shouldn't have been a problem, it was all very rushed.
I've waited 6 months to find the time to get it freshened up and so was super excited for my appointment yet I now wish I hadn't bothered & unfortunately feel my money has been wasted, very sad, especially at the fact I now have to wait to correct it.
