I was very nervous as I haven't been in a hair salon for over 5 years. Amy was very patient and put me at ease. She knew exactly what would work well for me, even though I felt I was contradicting myself (asking for a colour that blends in with my grey hairs but not going too light). The end result was perfect and the blow dry was amazing - my hair has never looked so good! And the tea and massage were both wonderful too. Thank you.

I hadn't been to a salon in years and I was recommended to try Pure, I was skeptical at first because previously I only had my hair done at home by friends or myself but I had no reason to be skeptical at all; They were brilliant.
Even before the actual appointment they were so kind, I went for a consultation with Amy where we discussed what I wanted to do with my hair and she talked me through what she would need to do to achieve it. At first I was very unsure that the style I wanted would work for me but she reassured me she could do it. [Wanting to have it bleached was my main concern because I have previously put a lot of box bleach in at home.]
They were really kind and welcoming to me from the moment I stepped through the door, offered my a drink and made me comfortable, even offered a massage! I sat down with Amy and she talked me through everything, went back over the consultation to make sure I hadn't changed my mind and let me know how long she though the process would be taking. Even though I was there for hours, because my hair needed a lot of TLC, I was so comfortable. Staff kept checking in on me and checking if I wanted another drink and Amy kept making sure that none of the products were causing any irritation. Amy even walked me through how I can best take care of it at home and how I can style it myself, she even talked me through some of what she was doing with my hair and why.
And after all those hours in the seat, and wash bowl, I can say I enjoyed the experience and I love the result! I have had so much more confidence since leaving the salon, when I got home I was told I looked like I was glowing, and I couldn't keep my hands out my hair. The before and after results are so telling of how skilled Amy is and I'm so happy I took the chance to have my hair done professionally, I cannot thank her or the salon enough!

I don't usually like having my hair cut, I've been to the salon before and I hadn't been again for some time just due to life and a little laziness but my kids really needed their hair cut so I managed to get a very last minute appointment this Sunday gone and then booked my own hair cut for today! Amy was lovely throughout, she made me feel at ease, I did give her free-reign to do anything with my hair and she completely transformed my hair! Thank you so much!

I had Evie today for the first time and she was excellent considering she's still learning. She's a talented young lady and an asset to pure hair and spa. Although Abi was lovely and did a great job with my highlights, I feel as though there was not great coordination and communication with who was washing my hair and when, and that i’d had partial and not half head highlights. I Felt a bit forgotten. Evie did my toner and dried my hair, did a great job, and is lovely too and wants to please. I was in there for over 3 hours - a long time I thought. This is just a constructive critique on the service but the people are lovely and passionate about their craft.

Really enjoyed my experience at Pure Hair and Spa. I don’t usually leave reviews but feel that I want to pass on the experience to others for them to enjoy. From beginning to end I was made to feel relaxed and pampered.
