I came in to the salon for a colour and style with Liz and a shiatsu massage with Lee. Cant thank them enough for making my afternoon so enjoyable and making me feel very special. Such a lovely friendly team. Colour lovely thankyou so much.

Good value last minute deal. Cut and blow dry fine. Pleased with the results. My only criticism was that I felt I was being given the hard sell on the products. I had already bought an additional treatment and was then told about the products used. Great, that's helpful, but I was asked more than once which I would be buying. Put me off a bit.

It’s only the second time I’ve been to Peewees, but it’s a salon I’m proud to refer to as “my salon”.
My hair, it’s fair to say, has been the subject of many a comment (not often positive!), and many hours of personal labour... not to mention MANY hair specialists along the way...
Finding someone you can trust completely when they say “do you want it like you’ve asked for, or will you trust me to do something that really suits the inner you” has only happened to me twice... sadly the first person passed away several years ago, but I’ve found his equal in Lee!!
I went in with a complete disaster of a hairdo and came out completely transformed... thank you Lee... you even surpassed the first time
It would be wrong not to mention his wonderful full team as well... wonderful customer service vice, care and attention... definitely the place I will stay at ...

Is there nothing Donna can't do? She had yet again transformed my hair from everyday to extraordinary. Love my new texture and cut, plus she understood exactly what I wanted with a 'peekaboo' undercut and colour so I can change my hair from daytime business look to nighttime punky. She also added a great colour to my cut that didn't sting my sensitive scalp. Thank you Donna!!

After coming in last Saturday with hair that probably couldn’t have been in much worse condition it didn’t take Donna long to work her magic. A lovely cut later and as usual one very happy customer! Thank you Donna (and everyone else at Peewees who are always so chatty and friendly) and see you in December.

Having moved to area recently I've been looking for a new hairdresser- went on off chance they had a free appt - £25 for cut and finish hitch I thought was good value. Sionade did a brilliant job, she was very friendly and paid great attention to what sort of finish I wanted - very pleased I will definitely be back ?

First time of coming to peewees...I was made to feel very welcome. Thank you to the lovely girl that washed my hair (sorry I didn't get her name) she took her time and was very good. But the biggest thanks goes to Liz who rescued my hair disaster. Knew what to do and took the time to do it. Very impressed....

I was looking for a new hairdresser in Burgess Hill. The girl that cut my hair was polite and friendly, she asked me how I would like my hair cut and told me she would put an extra moisturising conditioner on my hair as it hadn't been cut for a while. Without warning, my head was then massaged and I was told to "close my eyes and relax" given the fact that I had my daughter with me, i didn't want to close my eyes or particularly have a head massage but it was over within minutes. I was then taken back to the sink to wash out the moisturising conditioner where I was informed by the girl that the "extra treatment" had just cost me £11-12 extra. I was so surprised as I had not been informed before hand or asked and would have said no! I never write reviews but felt this was a very under hand way to make extra money!

Siobhan is a very highly skilled stylist and I feel like a new person... even stopped traffic!!! My hair was looking dried out colour, Siobhan is super talented and transformed my tired locks into a shiny and lovely style, she very friendly and makes you feel at home and so do the rest of the team at Peewees and a special mention to Chloe who washed my hair and gave me a lovely head massage!! Thank you all

Siobhan gave me another brilliant haircut today. I've been coming to Peewees for many years mainly because of Soibhan's expertise and skills. My hair is thick and grey and has recently gone very brittle, I was in despair I would ever get it back to looking sleek and glossy again. Siobhan works miracles and restored it to its former glory with a conditioning treatment, and as always a brilliant cut.

First time coming to this hair salon and I was welcomed by smiling, happy professionals who were able to help me with my hair right there and then. Couldn't fault peewees in any way polite, happy, amazing, and just wow

I've been Sineads client since she was doing training, it's wonderful how much she has grown into such a talented young stylist, every appointment is different with her because I like to try different styles different colours, and we both get excited to what we would do next. It's lovely to have a great flowing conversation with her, soon as I walk through that door she's always smiling. I will be sticking with her as long as possible :)! Thank you peewees

The ladies in there are always lovely, very happy and chatty, listen to what you say and make suggestions in the consultation. Chevonne is my stylist and it's always a pleasure to have her cut and style my hair, it's always spot on!

Thought I was having a hair cut but actually turned into lesson for the hairdresser. Fortunately kept the hair longer than normal so will try again in a few weeks.

I can honestly say Sinead is a star, the colour and cut I'm so happy with. Previously I had a colour and a cut by another salon and just had an awful experience. But Sinead gave me Ideas and it was nice for someone to tell you what you need and what would look nice, the atmosphere was also fun because the girls were all singing and laughing and it was nice to be somewhere where you can enjoy it and not feel uncomfortable. I had a lovely head massage by one of the girls as well! Will defiantly recommend this salon to anyone, 100% coming back :)!!' Worth every penny, it's true you pay for what you get x

I felt pressured into a style I had said I didn't want, I was not happy and went back. They did their best to put it right and it looked OK when I left the salon however now styling it myself I am really unhappy with the style. I have not been back again as I do not feel they can do anything else as it was razored and would be unsure of the reception I would get. I will just have to wait for it to grow and then have it restyled. The people there were very pleasant.

Got my hair half price due to being referred by a friend. I can also refer someone who'll get theirs half price and if the do I will also have another half price haircut - bonus!

It was time for my regular trip to Peewees and yet again Donna did not disappoint. After having a good chat about what I wanted and Donna's suggestions she worked her magic despite having to contend with hair that seems to be changing texture totally every visit! I had a lovely afternoon with the lovely Peewees staff and hopefully we will have them in Burgess Hill for another thirty one years! Thank you Donna and everyone at Peewees!

Great recommendation from my niece... thought I knew what I wanted when I went there, but quickly put my trust in Lee who styled and coloured my hair to "fit my personality".. very insightful, knowledgeable and talented expert in his field - I'm very pleased and will definitely go there from now on!! Managed to get a short notice appointment as SURPRISE! they were open on BH Monday. I had fancied a change from my usual and explained my story to Donna. She listened, examined my current mop and suggested a choppy razor cut which would be more up to date but not make me mutton dressed as lamb. Donna clearly knows her stuff and is very experienced. AND SHE HAD LISTENED. No heavy product, just a great contemporary cut from someone that knows hair. I was the first appointment on a Bank Holiday so the shop was quiet to begin - good music though. As Arnie says....I'll be back!!

I'm frequently asked where I have my hair styled and have never been disappointed, dread the thought of ever having to change from Peewees.

Got there on time ,had to wait for the girl to finish some one else hair off before coming over .we discussed my low light and hair cut .she thought I may not nead a full head of low lights so only had 10 foils in my hair .had my hair washed cut the blow dry .the she put the foils in then washed it again and blow dryer it all over again so she charged me twice it was over £100 I was very shocked that's the most I have ever paid for my hair !

after having a bad haircut at another store, I popped into peewees and got an appointment straight away, my consultants did an great job fixing the cut, I will be back for a Color and cut next time thank you

I was very happy with the service in the past but my last few visits left me disappointed and stressed.
My last appointment was 25 minutes late. There was many clients, not enough haisressers. As a result I ended up waiting all the time for someone to come (at least 20 minutes each time), also spent ages with my head in the sink (and stiff neck) before stylist could leave other customer and come to see the colour result or advise junior on what shampoo to use etc.
I was happy with the results but spending whole day and having my hair done in a rush, between other customers left me feeling frustrated. Maybe it's the fact that I had 1 glass of water in 5 hours and was hungry too ;)
Regret but won't come anymore.
