Sandy cut my hair we've never met before but she seemed to know just how I wanted my hair to look. She was so friendly I felt very relaxed throughout. My hair looked great afterwards definitely the best cut I've had in a long time.

As always, a friendly and welcoming place to get your haircut. I was the only person in the salon at the time so felt extremely comfortable with Covid19 precautions. Carole offered advice on how best to cut my hair and it now looks great. Thanks to Carole and the team (Ali ?) at Hair on North St.

Carol as usual did a absolutely brilliant job on my hair and after 12 wks of lockdown it certainly needed it ! Everyone there is so friendly and make you feel very welcome . Next appointment already booked !

Brendan listened and took time to understand what hair style I was looking for. He spent lots of time explaining what he was going to do and took time with my haircut. The end result - the BEST haircut I can ever remember having and easy to style at home. I highly recommend.

Yet another fantastic appointment with Brendan it took me ages to find someone who could cut my hair but Brendan is excellent.

2nd visit to see carol and once again she has done a brilliant job on my hair , I’m very very pleased . Carol is such a perfectionist, doesn’t rush ,takes her time and get it’s just right , she is amazing !

Fab haircut in a modern salon - what more can I say ?

Great cut, good coffee and good chat. A chilled laid back and friendly atmosphere always makes this salon a treat to experience. Brendan takes time to listen to his clients and uses his skills and expertise to advise. You never have that conveyor belt feeling that some salons offer. Topped off with a first class cut and blow dry, what’s not to like about it?!

Carole was my stylist she was so understanding, she really took her time for me to explain what I wanted doing to my hair. Very pleased with the results and will be going to see her again A+++

Very pleased with my hair. It had become damaged after my previous hairdresser over processed it. Carole gave me good advice on how to strengthen it and the cut took out a lot of the damage. A great end result. Thank you Carole.

Had a cut and blow dry with Carole. It was my first time at the salon and had first class cut. I will become a regular here.

Brendan advised at my last cut to try without a fringe! I’ve had a fringe for 40 years so was quite a risk for me, I have loved the cut, had loads of compliments. So this time asked for the same, he’s tidied up the cut, thinned it out leaving me with a style with bounce and shape. Great advice, great cut, thank you.

Carol was lovely and my hair is fabulous. The salon itself is lovely as are the products. Unfortunately I found £95 to be very expensive for a half head of highlights, considering I did not get it cut.

No communication throughout. Absolutely awful haircut, Had to have it corrected elsewhere and pay even more money. They said it was so uneven I had to have it cut even shorter. Went in with waist length hair and wasn't shown the amount to be taken off or I would have said it was too much. It was like a child hacked my hair in half and just left it. Hairdresser knew I was unhappy but let me leave anyway. I have had no apology or offer of a refund. Truly devastated with my hair and will never go back !!

Went to Brendan after reading about him being particularly skilled in working with short hair. The salon is very chilled and clean and has a great ambiance. Brendan took time to give his expert advice and showed some pictures as well as explaining what he was doing as he was cutting. He definitely knows his stuff. The result was excellent. I thoroughly recommend him and the salon and will definitely return. Thank you.

First time I have used the salon, a treat from my parents who use the salon regularly. I won’t be going anywhere else in future. It is the first time I have been to a hairdressers where the stylist completely understood about my hair type. Sophia was my stylist and she was simply brilliant! Kind, knowledgeable and gave me some excellent tips. I have NEVER worn my hair down, but thanks to Sophia’s advice and help I will be from now on! Thank you x

Very pleased with my high light's and cut

Excellent hair cut as always. Really friendly and a good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend a visit as Brendan gives a fabulous cut...really good prices too.

What can I say? 10 out of 10. Very intelligent and interpersonal. Not once did I get asked if it was my day off or where I was going for my holidays. We talked mostly about the rise and fall western and eastern civilisation, politics, stock markets and suicidal tenancies. Oh and we also touched on LBGT groups and how best to include them.

I came in 10min early and didn't have to wait! This place has very good atmosphere. Brendan did an amazing job, while I was having a cup of coffee. Very pleased with the result and got lots of compliments too!

Great first visit. Love my hair. Chilled salon which was nice. Could do with better magazine selection! Have made another appointment for 2 months time.
