Being someone with curly hair I'm always a little worried about getting it cut. However, I could not fault my experience at Hair. They knew their stuff about curly hair and I've never experienced my hair looking as healthy and as curly as it is now. Would definitely recommend to anyone with curly hair who's worried that too much will be taken off. Think I've found my new regular hairdresser.

I went to see Brendan at Hair after I disastrously tried to give myself a fringe and it went terribly wrong. I had chopped off huge chunks! Brendan took one look and very calmly said not to worry, he'd sort it. And he did. He blended my hair beautifully and now I have a soft, gorgeous fringe! The salon was so peaceful and relaxing too. I will definitely be back'

Jack at HAIR on North Street has cut my very curly hair quite a few times now. He takes his time to understand what I want and gives thoughtful advice and a good cut. He is really interested in the craft and creativity of hairstyling. The salon itself is small, friendly and relaxed, not blaring out dance music and it smells great as they use lovely natural hair products (to which there is no hard sell). A chilled out salon that gets to know you and your hair.

Last week Jack changed my hairstyle from a jaw-length bob to a very short 'urchin' type cut.

The result is excellent and I have had several compliments. Jack took a great deal of time and trouble and has created a work of art!

This was my first appointment at Hair, having been a long standing client at another popular salon in Chichester. Having regular bleached highlights my hair had become dry, dull and had started to break. It was time to look around for another option and take some new advise. Online booking was very easy and was confirmed via text message & email. Jack took a long time discussing my 'hair concerns' and despite walking in with the firm idea not to have it cut shorter on the first visit, I felt so confident with his advise, I did just that! I am so pleased that I did! My hair now feels and looks so much better. Jack used a new colour to add depth & the new shorter style looks great. I've had lots of compliments and a few friends have now booked with Jack too. Three weeks on and my hair still looks great. My blow dry skills are shocking at the best of times, so that goes to show the talent in the cutting! I would also add that whilst I was having my hair done, several other clients had their hair cut by Brendon - they left delighted with their hair too. I would highly recommend this salon.

Best haircut I've had in Chichester for a long time after going to many different salons, pleased to finally find a good hairdresser! And a very relaxed friendly vibe.

I've never used this salon before and had a fantastic experience. I was greeted with friendly smiles from Jack and Tish (I think that's her name). They took my coat and offered me a drink, hair wash was lovely and the shampoo and conditioners smelt lovely! Jack cut and blow dried my hair, I was quite specific about the cut and he checked with me throughout the process to make sure I was happy. My hair looks healthy and shiny and I am very pleased. The value was great- I received discount as it was my first time. I will be returning!

Had a wonderful haircut from Jack today, as it was my first time at the salon he made me very welcome and talked me through my hairstyle, the end result was amazing ...I love it!

I've not been to have my hair cut for around 8 years, that responsibility has been my girlfriend's up until now. A friend recommended 'HAIR' to me after spotting it on a trip into town so I thought I'd give it a try (I'm glad I did). After booking an appointment I arrived Monday afternoon and was greeted by my barber Jack, who was an extremely easy to talk to and laid back guy. I told him what I wanted and after 45 mins in the chair the transformation was complete! I would definitely recommend 'HAIR' to anyone, very professional service and a nice environment.

I came in for a cut and colour with Jack and Binky and I'm so happy with everything! Really lovely genuine people with great service and I love my hair. It's hard to find a salon where you feel genuinely relaxed but these guys were super professional and fun. I'll definitely be back. Thank you Hair!

I went into hair on North Street for the first time today after a friend recommended it. I walked in and got a warm welcome from Tish who offered me a drink. The staff were very friendly and engaged in open conversation and made me feel instantly comfortable. Jack did an amazing job on my hair and will definitely come again. It takes along time to trust a hair dressers and I left today as one happy customer. Would highly recommend this hair dressers!!

Very pleased with my cut, Jack was very informative and and helpful and took gray care with the finish.

Jack was very good at actually listening to me and figuring out what exactly I was trying to say I'd like to change, and took all the time it needed to explain what he'd suggest we do, then to actually do it, and do it very well. Before walking in I'd been slightly unsure about rocking a new look (tho it's nothing extreme!) but I was very soon at ease and now I have a haircut I really enjoy. 5 star people skills, 5 star hair skills.
