Felt really great at seeing the steps taken for safety regarding covid. Although the gown was really hot that’s nothing that can be prevented. Although was horrified at the dirty brushes Katie brought do style my hair. They were covered in blonde hairs. From a safety point of view I don’t know if that matters but from a customers point of view it was disgusting. As a person with curly hair I wasn’t asked how I wished to be styled. She just proceeded to straighten my hair. I wouldn’t have minded if it was done correctly but I left with fuzz. Normally if I ask for straight hair I leave a salon with it. Not done in-between poorly styled mix. No straightener was used. I’m not sure if that’s a covid thing or not but was utterly disappointed with the end result. Was so hot from the gown I just said it was fine to get out of the heat. ***** is a lovely girl. I guess I should have selected someone more senior as I don’t have easy to deal with hair.

Very satisfied with my hair cut. My hair hadn’t been cut for 7 months, Sissi styled my hair beautifully and gave it a fabulous blow dry with lots of volume. She was very friendly throughout.

I felt really safe using the salon on my first visit since lock down. All the staff had visors and masks on and I was provided with a sterile pack which included a gown a mask and a disposable towel.. I felt safe through my visit. Hopefully this will be a temporary

Talented stylist. Superb cut. I felt safe and protected, yet relaxed (under current COVID-19 climate). Adequate PPE issued and worn by staff. Not overcrowded. Good booking system. Cannot recommend eough

Although apprehensive to return for the first time since lockdown I was overly impressed and assured by the extremely hard work put in by the team to ensure the salon both met and exceeded government guidelines for Covid - 19 protection. Despite a challenging work environment for the staff they were not only true professionals but as always warm and friendly. They are an example to other business on how to get these challenging times right. Thank you in particular to Lloyd and Katie S today.

I've been to a few salons since I moved to England a few years ago. I didn't like any of them. I feel like some hair dressers don't know how to deal with long thick black hair. I decided to try Essensuals since I was a regular at their salon in Singapore and it was the best decision ever! Gemmy is amazing. My hair did not only look great after the cut but it still looks great after a few washes as well which is awesome! Highly recommended!
