Excellent, Glen will always discuss with you what you would like done as well as make suggestions if you ask. Have always come away totally satisfied with the end result be it cut, colour or both. So glad to have found his salon.

This was my first trip out on my own for over a year. I was feeling so anxious, so just booked a hair treatment. I didn’t want to get quarter of the way through a haircut and need to get out out of their quick!
Right from booking the appointment, to the actual day Ste (as always) made me feel like nothing was too much trouble, helping me to book an early morning appointment when the salon wouldn’t be busy. I was so nervous, but almost as soon as I’d arrived and had a coffee made by Ste and a chat with my stylist, Glen, I felt happy, and so glad I’d made the effort. The treatment on my hair was amazing, and I even felt brave enough to have my fringe trimmed a little.

Great salon experience. As someone who doesn't generally enjoy having my hair done James-Miller offers a relaxed comfortable atmosphere which would make anyone feel welcome. I love that they are environmentally conscious with use organic products.
I have to say a massive thank you to Roisin who done a wonderful job on my hair. She took the time to talk to me and understand what I wanted.
A testament to what a great job she done, when I left the salon I went to a store and was complemented on my lovely hair!

Glen and Steve run a wonderful boutique-style salon that feels exclusive yet warm and friendly. I am very pleased with my colour and cut and always get complimented on my hair now which never used to happen before. I also really enjoy the experience and the serene spa-like atmosphere they’ve created. My appointments are booked for the year to be sure I don’t miss out as they do get fairly booked up. Have recommended them without hesitation to all my friends and to my husband (now my slots are secure ;-).

As usual I was extremely pleased with my hair when I visited the salon today I have been having my hair styled by Glen for the past few years and haven't been dissatisfied. The colour by Aveda is organic and doesn't agrivate my scalp as other colours do. The colour looks very natural and have always been happy with the way he cuts my hair.

Roisin coloured my hair, it’s lovely! So pleased! Love the new O way products they’re divine and Roisin could tell me all about them and how organic and ethical they are. Love that the colour she used doesn’t stain the skin too so could leave the salon without any tell tale marks! They smell amazing. She was very sweet and nothing was too much trouble. Several people noticed my hair on the school run later that day and said how good it looked and how shiny - so I’m very happy!

Whilst the staff were fairly friendly unfortunately I don't think they know how too treat curly hair. Conditioner was applied to the ends only but I am not convinced any was applied, it may have just been finger combing through, and I certainly didn't get a scalp massage which is my favourite part of a salon visit. Product wise the range used didnt suit my hair needs, I was expecting they would use the aveda curl range which I quite like or equivalent. I wasn't advised of what was used. I asked but just got the brand. The canopy of my hair was rubbed dry with a towel quite vigoursly as was the lengths a complete, no no for a curly girl. I was asked if I wanted my hair curly or straight, I wanted my curls too look fab. I got some kind of blow dried wave smothered in hairspray. I had too rewash & style my hair the following day as it had gone very frizzy and straw like too touch. The colour wasn't bad but was applied with straight hair in mind. It looked great on the day, not so good with my curls. Such a shame as I chose the salon based on reviews and products, just not the right place for curls.

Going to James Miller is how going to a salon should be. Glen is highly attentive and always discusses what I want to achieve with my hair and is great with suggestions. Then it is pure relaxation and great banter. It’s a sanctuary of a salon. Even my husband really likes going there and has said his hair has never been cut so well.

There are Hair Salons and there are artists studios -this is the latter!
Ste and Glen and Roisin have a service that is a “cut above” other salons-treat yourselves -it’s worth it!

Got last minute appointments before Christmas, and informed the salon that my young kids age 5 and 3 have sensory issues which means they can be quite scared of hair brushing and cutting. Roisin was great and very patient with them, and they came out with nice short bobs and smiles all round.

Walked in feeling grey & dull, walked out feeling fabulous! Glen never fails to recommend the most natural tones for my hair. Lovely atmosphere and an added bonus was my first visit to The Lash Loft upstairs where I had a great manicure & pedicure!

I’ve always get exactly what I want and more from the team as it’s a very professional service. I usually opt for colour and cut and can rely 100% that it will look stunning.
The booking experience is fast, flexible and efficient and the vibe in the salon is friendly and relaxing. I would highly recommend the salon.

Very much enjoyed my experience at your salon was relaxing not too crowded good atmosphere.
Enjoyed the massage chair when I had my hair shampooed, I also like the products.
