Once again John was very attentive and did another brilliant job! I had a full head colour, cut and blow wave and left the saloon feeling a million dollars!! Thank you John! I'm so glad I tried this salon a few months ago, as you really are an amazing stylist!!

Richard has now been doing my hair for 12 years and he is a genius at it and possesses really stunning skill sets.. when ever I ask him to come up with something new he always seems to find a lovely fresh way to do it which I love.

This was my first appointment for a complex colour and cut, following a complimentary consultation with John.
John was so attentive and took a real interest in my hair and what I wanted to achieve, and so reassuring that I immediately felt at ease! My appointment went ahead as planned on the 10th of January, and to say that I left the salon feeling really confident and very happy with the outcome is an understatement! Thank you so much John! I am really looking forward to my next appointment with you!!

Richard is a great stylist and very personable. He pays attention to what the client wants and advises on what is likely to work best.

I was very disappointed, they were rude, they didn't ask any kindness and I almost didn't take my coat off. this is not a salon but a factory. the person we booked with didn't even do our hair. I was 99% confused, there was a small smile from 2 other guests. all I was told to do was to put my foot down. she holds me straight, she can't cut it in any other way, if I look up, so that the hairdresser is more comfortable, it was terribly disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. we usually go to the hairdresser to get a little update, and in between to share our doubts and witness, I think we also give them a little bit of psychology. but I'd rather forget the factory workers. But I've learned.

Had a lovely Blow dry by Zoe today. She was so patient and gentle when shampooing. I had some tangles in my hair and she managed to get them out. She gave me a fab Blow dry. I have thick wavy hair and she worked wonders. I look forward to my next visit to Head first.

Helen listened to what I wanted she did a fantastic job on my hair and better. I walked out of the salon smiling I had a lovely experience. Thank you I'm a happy customer 😊

I initially had a complimentary consultation with John last week, and I was so impressed by his manner and the time he spent looking at my hair and discussing what I wanted. John was so professional and really reassuring and I left the salon feeling really confident and looking forward to my appointment! I went back yesterday for a lengthy colouring process and cut and blow wave, and I received the same level of professionalism, care and attention as on my previous visit! I'm absolutely delighted with my new colour and cut and blow wave, and I can honestly say that I will be recommending John to my friends and family! Thank you John! I have been going to headfirst for about 5 years and i have never been disappointed. All the staff is really friendly and Stephen always leaves my hair looking beautiful and healthy.

Care and attention as usual, listened to my request for a change and made a great contribution. I left the salon with an excellent new cup and a genuine smile.

I’ve been coming to Headfirst since the early 90s, might even be late 80s! Since Jeremy moved to Harrogate Road, Richard has been my stylist. He knows when it comes to hair I’m useless so he takes all the difficulty out of a trip to the Hairdressers for me. He keeps me entertained too! Value for money and a lovely salon, I can’t see me going anywhere else! Thank you!
