I went to the Parkwood salon, appalling experience, don’t go here, The stylist was horrible, wouldn’t speak to me and couldn’t have cared less, worst experience I have ever had.
Livvy did my hair, cut and blow dry, best service I have ever recieved when going to the hairdressers, she did such an amazing job with my hair and reccommend me some great products!! x
I booked a 15 minute pre consultation with one of the two top ‘consultants’ to make sure I had enough time with her to really discuss what I wanted so there was no misunderstandings and to see what I wanted could be achieved.
I had patchy lightened hair which was golden at the crown and blonder in the T section.
I wanted whiter highlights through the golden bits and golden low lights through the lighter bits and then perhaps some brown lowlights scattered throughout.
Instead of touching and inspecting my hair or taking a clipping to see how my hair responded to the high/low lights she got out a gadget which apparently tells her everything she needs to know and apparently is only one of two Salons in Wiltshire that have this Magic device.
This Magic Device said that my hair was okay but would benefit from the use of, yes you got it; the products this salon sold.
I’d already decided I wouldn’t buy their products but I wanted to know if my hair could take the treatment I was asking which Kymmie said it could and to bring in photos of the style/cut and colour I was looking for when I booked.
Long story short once sat in the chair I was told my hair couldn’t take low lights but it could take a freshen up of highlights and a root colour and cut.
When I questioned this Kymmie said ‘I must have misunderstood you’,
I was in their 5 hours.
I came out looking no different then when I went in but in addition my hair is breaking more.
In addition Kymmie smokes and she smells of smoke. When you are paying a premium price you expect a premium service.
They charged me in excess of £200. I wrote to them with my concerns and gave them two weeks to respond. I received nothing. They have also removed themselves from Trustpilot. Says it all.
The lady was lovely, let’s start with the positives!
I asked for brown all over, with a small amount of blonde highlights. The result- patchy, streaky, khaki, black, blonde MESS. It is quite possibly the worst dye job I have ever seen. I went back to have it fixed, but had very little confidence so decided to go elsewhere. No refund offered. Now spent another £150 to get it sorted. £350 down the drain, and barely saved by a fab hairdresser round the corner!! Please do your research and avoid this salon like the plague!
I haven’t had my hair done anywhere else in six years. Pippa did the most amazing job on my hair today - she quickly worked out that I’d booked wouldn’t give me the result I wanted, and suggested something else and was absolutely bang on the money. Absolutely delightful, as usual.
I hate to leave a bad review but my hair is awful. When I tie it up it is not evenly cut so I had to cut it to even it out! and the colour is so bad for jas. I’m very used to having a lovely colour from this company! Unfortunately I will not be revisiting this salon.
I would not go anywhere else. I have been going to the Wilton salon since it opened. Karin does my hair and I can honestly say that I have never had a complaint, she is so knowledgeable and experienced and I trust her opinion. The salon has such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and you feel really pampered. They also have a great rewards programme
Very picky people. I wasn't probably fitting into their preferred clientele.... Booked myself for "kerastraight hair straightening" I mean the name explain it...the description says it will straiten the hair to the last tip ect ect... When the hairdresser took my coat off and probably saw its from Primark she started right away it's not actually straitening, it's just gets rid of the frizz...and bla bla bla and advised me to go elsewhere. Of course I am not going woman like that touch my hair ... Not sure why... Because I am foreign, because I had cheap coat, because I am not top model? She was very quick to push me out of the door and got me my deposit back and whole I was waiting for the receptionist to process that she went to the back an was laughing with her colleague about something...not sure what but it felt very targeted after that experience. Stay away, horrible person ... never ever made me someone feel so little....
Avoid this salon at all costs. My hair was over bleached after never being bleached and it was yellow and purple when finished. The haircut was rushed as they had already taken 5 hrs bleaching my short hair.
I had a great experience there first time I went that’s why I went back. Second time round they put stuff on my hair which made it dry I honestly thought I was going to end up with no hair plus they cut my hair unevenly on one side and it’s a lot shorter it looks awful and now I have to live it until it grows back. I had that second appointment for a re-cut with a different stylist to see if she can sort it out the girl tried her best but couldn’t. They knew they made a mistake with my cut and when I asked to get a refund I was told company policy to not give refunds and i have To get a appointment to see if we can sort the issue that was made in salon or get a complimentary cut next time why would I do that after what they have done to my hair honestly not going to happen again I would off thought if I was not happy with the service I received and a mistake was made with my cut why I was not entitled to that refund I’m disgusted.
The woman barely spoke and as she was washing she kept tugging on my hair which hurt a lot but the end result was good. Felt a little uncomfortable as one of the staff kept staring at me constantly
I’ve just come back from Jas hair in Salisbury and so happy with my hair. Natasha was so lovely, I had a lovely treatment and a tidy up. She blow dried it gorgeously and I feel amazing! Love this salon.
I recently attended the Wilton salon for balayage and root tint. It was my first time at the salon and it will certainly be my last.
The results were truly dire! The first attempt at the colour resulted in patchy and inconsistent application- which the stylist was actually rather proud of. Only upon my insistence was this attempted to be corrected! This was done by simply adding more blonde dye on top and obviously just created an even bigger mess and left me with dry, damaged and YELLOW! I was then further shocked by the insistence that I ‘could not leave unless I paid’ a large sum of money. She did however reassure me that a refund would be possible once the salon manager returned to work after the weekend. This turned out to be a lie. After contacting the salon and the owner of Jas hair group I have basically been told that they do not care and have refused to accept their failings and give me a refund which is all I want. I have subsequently paid to visit a reputable salon to have my hair corrected. Notably the other salon assumed I had ruined my hair by using a home hair dye kit and were shocked to learn that it had been done professionally as not only the colour was bad but the application was executed so poorly they assumed it had been done by a non professional. It will take months to get my hair back to the condition and colour that it was.
I went in a few weeks ago for a colour (brunette naturally, wanted it lightened in a balayage style), showed the stylist a picture of exactly what I wanted but she seemed to take no notice as what I ended up with was my hair completely bleached orange, no hilights or anything - just a solid block of orange with the roots left out. I left feeling like I’d been robbed as I paid £100 for a cut and colour. The hairdresser barely spoke to me the whole time I was there and it was very uncomfortable. I went back the next day and complained, and after a collaring from the receptionist who tried to tell me I was wrong, a different stylist agreed to fix my hair for free. Although this second colour was a lot better than what I originally had done, I am still really unhappy with it as it is nothing like what I asked for, and my hair is so damaged from the whole process. Would not recommend this salon at all, I’m having to pay someone else to fix their mistakes now and I wish I’d never gone in the first place! Really disappointing experience.
Took them up on what was supposed to be a half price offer for highlights and a cut - tried to sell me lots of different products which I didn't take up on - still cost me £80. The hairdresser barely spoke all the time I was in the salon (apart from trying to sell me extras) - only briefly replying when I tried to strike up a conversation . The whole salon was practically silent - no chatter from the staff with any of their clients - not a nice atmosphere at all. The only cheerful person was the girl downstairs on the reception desk. The highlights and cut weren't that good either - so much so that no-one I knew even noticed I'd had my hair done!
I booked this appointment online after reading several reviews and most of them being pretty good. The appointment cost me £40, expensive for a woman with very short hair! I thought I would pamper myself after getting over a bad bout of flu! I walked in the door and my coat was taken and put away, the girl that was cutting my hair (I had booked a senior stylist, thinking I would get somebody who had a little more experience) sat me down and asked me what I wanted, I got out my phone to show her the style that I wanted and had had before, my phone didn't have very good signal so took a while to load (I have since discovered that the shop gave out free wi-if to customers, I wasn't told this!). The girl didn't seem very interested in looking anyway! The whole way through the cutting of my hair she probably spoke 3 times, the most uncomfortable haircut I have ever had! The end result was my hair looking absolutely nothing like the picture that I showed her! I would not go back and would n
