Visited SMQ today to see Rhiannon, who has performed a truly amazing job! In depth consultation, full head colour, treatments and cut and blow dry . I felt so safe considering the current situation, the salon is so clean and constantly being sanitised. Would highly recommend Rhiannon’s incredible talent

What a lovely afternoon in the salon. Lindsey was brilliant as ever. Everything is really well organised and the salon make over looks lovely. Couldn’t be happier with my hair.

Don't know if I had Charlotte A ir Charlotte B but they did a wonderful job of my 1st post lockdown haircut. Made me feel very relaxed, amazing head massage and perfect hair cut!

Aimee always listens to what I want which is very hard to find! She highlighted my hair today and being an ex hairdresser I can be picky, she worked really hard with such attention to detail. I am so happy with the final result. Couldn’t go anywhere else!

Fantastic service

It was so nice to see Aimee after all this time not just for my hair of course! She did a fabulous job with my blonde hair colour after my dark roots were nearly half way down my head! She blended the colour in nicely and made it a lot warmer. I have seen Aimee for years and she always does a fantastic job. Avant Garde made an excellent effort with making you feel welcome, safe and comfortable, providing you with your own PPE as well as keeping things normal with their bright and happy atmosphere.

Amazing service and beautiful result! She really listened to exactly what I wanted and took her time! Would highly recommend!

My first post lockdown haircut. Charlotte A did an amazing job and did exactly what I asked without by me having to repeat myself.

The preventive measures in place at Avant Garde, Warndon are impressive. The arrangements include an individual sealed Client Pack with mask, gown and towel. The staff team is obviously well trained and practised. Aimee worked miracles with my tatty mop and the 4 months' growth of dark roots. Cut superb and slightly altered new colour is absolutely brilliant for summer. Only downside, and outside the Salon's control, was usual buzzy atmosphere lacking as only a couple of Clients in at once. No hot drinks or high-end magazines allowed either. We will get used to life like this. Thank you to everyone.

I was really looked after by Charlotte today. She was really good at interpreting what I wanted and I love the colour of the foils she did. I’m so grateful to have my hair done even though it was strange with no drink and no magazine.

Like many, I was unsure about how the salon experience would differ to ‘pre-lockdown’. However, I needn’t have worried. As usual, all of the staff at Avant Garde were super smiley and welcoming, instantly putting me at ease. Lindsey’s calm and chatty nature made the whole experience feel more like I was catching up with an old friend. Thank you, Lindsey for a lovely cut and blow dry- my hair feels so much happier and healthier now!

I’ve been getting my hair done by Rhiannon for the past 3 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else, she always works her magic! All the Girls are so lovely and welcoming too. The salon has gone above and beyond to make sure everything is clean and sanitised to make you feel safe.

Had my hair coloured today, was due to have it done the week we went into lockdown so it was very much needed. I was a bit apprehensive about going into st Martin's salon but it was a good, made to feel very comfortable and the cleanliness was brilliant, screens and privacy measures very good. Changed my colour slightly this time added a splash of pink, so pleased with how it has come through. Great job Kate as always. Very pleased thank you.

First appointment after restrictions were lifted. I cannot praise Aimee and the Avant Garde team enough. Just waited outside to be called in; sanitisers for hands and little bag; PPE Packs with apron, disposable towel and optional mask; only 4 stylists at a time so lots of social distance. The usual friendly and professional treatment with added care due to Aimee and the others wearing aprons, gloves and visors. I felt comfortable and safe plus my hair was fab (my Brian May locks really needed taming and colouring). You take your used kit away for disposal and everything is sanitised afterwards, so more precautions. I paid by card plus booked my next two appointments at the chair. Well done!! ?to Aimee.

The salon was clean and I felt very safe. You could tell a lot of thought and time had gone into the setup.

Fantastic to be able to eventually get my hair sorted but most of all congratulate Rhiannan and the girls (and Ian & naomi of course) who have done a grand job on making salon safe for their customers and their staff. They've been working flat out to get everything sorted and now doing extra hours to make sure all their clients are seen.
I'm very proud to be a regular here and highly recommend this salon!

Just a quick thank you to all the staff at AG. We are living in very strange times but it was still a pleasure to have my hair done. The attention to detail over the new hygiene regs were excellent. I felt reassured and relaxed in the new ‘normal’. A particular thank you to Kate, it was like meeting up again with an old friend.

I went to avant garde in warndon villages today for a full head of foils/toner with a cut and blow dry. The team there were very organised and very attentive. Niamh was amazing, she was so lovely and accommodating with everything. She did an amazing job and I absolutely love the end result. It was also my birthday today and the salon went the extra mile to make my day feel special. Thank you so much to everybody!

Sam did an amazing cut after months without the hair dresser.
Disappointed to see £5 added to my bill for PPE. This was not mentioned on booking and I could have provided own mask for free.
