have been coming for past 3 years and cannot rate this place highly enough, in fact I now commie from Bromsgrove to still come as love it so much! Fab salon, lovely staff and easy parking out front! Sam ;-)

Amazing salon, friendly and welcoming staff! Mandi knows my hair so well and makes excellent suggestions, makes me feel at ease! Love having my hair done their, look forward to my appointments so much :)

I booked for a blow dry at the last minute and as I have quite thick, long hair I like to be in & out as quick as humanly possible! Also, I have a hair salon phobia - so you can imagine my anxiety going to a new salon.

The staff were genuinely relaxed & friendly, I felt extremely welcome & relieved. I am soo happy with my blow dry too, it's very glamorous and I LOVE that my stylist knew exactly which Kerastase to wash & treat my hair with, to me, that's the sign of a great salon - all carried out on a very comfy massage chair, no horrible basin cutting into your neck, just relaxation!

Cut was fine, massage chair amazing during hair wash. However it's a pet hate of mine to use straighteners to smooth hair rather than a good blow dry.

Fantastic salon Mandi made me feel so welcome loved the massage chair and Mandi did a great job with my hair feeling great when I left keep up the good work

I was given very good advice helped to make a decision about the colour of my hair. I had foils and it was just the colour I had wanted. I found the prices very good for the level of service. Made my next appointment can't wait to go back.

Lovely salon - I would not consider going anywhere else. Although most have preferred stylists, it is the case that I am reassured that any of the stylists would offer excellent quality and service.

Extended opening hours, online booking, wifi, massage chairs - what more could you want!?

It was my first time at Avant Garde. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with big smiles and taken through to the really spacious modern salon by Catherine to chat about what I wanted. Once I'd decided Catherine showed me a lovely cut on the iPad which we both agreed would look good. The hair washing was an amazing experience with a chair that massaged you while you had your hair washed! The cut itself was a joy from start to finish, Catherine was absolutely lovely and I laughed all the way through, I felt really at ease. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to Avant Garde.

What a relief it was to find a lovely salon and a stylist that could actually cut a bob ! I had had several stylists at different
salons over the last 18 months and all horrendous......wonky bobs, lopsided fringes, layers put in when not requested.......
need I say more ! Then I discovered Mandi. What a difference. She managed to remedy it. She listened and gave me the
options to sort out the mess I walked in with and I left with a bob ! I can recommend the salon and Mandi and I love the
massaging chairs when having your hair washed !!

Claire coloured and styled my hair to perfection last week and despite the humidity my frizzy hair remained straight for a whole week! Would definitely recommend the conditioning treatment.

I was first drawn to the salon when it first opened. Free parking and great location attracted me. I have been returning ever since because I have never had a bad cut. However it's more than that, the opening hours mean flexibility, the stylists have a certain style, I mean there is definitely an AV kinda stylist and I like that vibe. Then there is the booking on line, so easy and simple, the salons sign and layout feels modern, and I love the mini massage I get when my hair is washed.

I am trying to find fault and I simply can't.

I have been a customer since the salon opened and wouldn't consider moving. It's location was the first draw for me, free parking is always a bonus. Then I was offered a corporate discount. Again, a great way to get me through the door. Now I return because the salon is relaxing, high quality, good value and customer focused.

I love the fact that I can book online, with transparent pricing. They all treat me and my daughters so well. Top marks all round.

I have been coming to this salon for over 6 years and I am delighted with the results each time! Claire, my stylist, is amazing and makes my hair look amazing each time. There are alway new products to try and new ideas to discuss. I am so glad I discovered such a dynamic and forward thinking salon. I will be coming back for many years!

I've been coming to this salon since moving to Worcester 7 years ago and I love it! The owners and staff are wonderful and friendly and would do anything for you. Even though I am moving back to Northern Ireland I will still be coming over on my days off for the foreseeable future for Mandi to keep doing my hair because I really don't want anyone else to do it! Brilliant!

This was my first visit to the salon after being recommended by a friend. Mandi was fantastic and so thorough plus understood what I wanted. The colour is great and I've had lots of compliments so I will definitely be returning!

I love Avant Garde! I rang up one day for a cut, they went above had beyond to fit me in and I've now been a regular client of Claire's for almost 3 years. My mum and my niece are also clients of Claire too. Claire always cuts and colours my hair to the highest standard and is very reasonably priced. I've also had other treatments and styles done which I have loved. There's nothing I wouldn't trust Claire with! So much so I travel from Bromsgrove to get my hair done every month. I have always found all of the staff to be friendly, polite and professional. I don't have a bad word to say!

Just visited Avant Garde for the first time for a cut and blow-dry.....and I'm so glad that I did! Lindsey was really lovely and created the style that I wanted- whilst talking me through each stage to make sure I was comfortable with what she was doing. I haven't had a cut this good in years and she even managed to make my fine, whispy hair gorgeously big and bouncy! Very highly recommended and reasonably priced... I will definitely be back!

Had full head foils today with Gizem and was really impressed. Her attention to detail is amazing. Very thorough and goes through everything with you to make sure your happy. Best hairdressing salin Ive been to!!

Beautiful colour again by Mandi. Treated myself to a Kevin Murphy deep conditioning treatment. So warm and indulgent and hair feels not my own! Always such a fantastic service and results here - myself and the family are regular clients of Mandi. Colouring advice is superb, cuts done with precision and possibly the most fantastic blow dry in town. Gorgeous styling for my gigs and singing performances never let me down.

I've been a client of Avant Garde for a few years now and always had friendly helpful service from all of the staff. My last visit was no exception. Ashleigh welcomed me with posts of a drink and a real interest in how I wanted my new style to look. I've always been terrified of hairdressers (my mum was a hairdresser many years ago and I was often her guinea pig) but my experiences at avant garde have settled my fears and I know that I will always leave feeling confident with my new look. So thank you Ian and the team but most thanks go to Ashleigh for always making me feel like a VIP when I visit!
