Why it?s important to get your reviews, everywhere!
The landscape is changing, the review market is evolving and we need to make sure our customers evolve with it.
Clients are no longer looking in just one place for reviews, so we need to make sure we?re pushing reviews into lots of areas of the internet.
Think about this?where are you looking for reviews that interest you?
The 4 main corners of the internet that you need to have covered are:
- Listing sites / directories - consumers head to these sites because reviews are often verified and easily accessible. A trip advisor review is way more in-depth than a google review so this will attract a specific type of consumer.
- Google reviews - they?re easy to find, but often out of date & shuffled in a bizarre order, however they?re a staple diet for the review hungry public.
- Your own website - when was the last time you were on a businesses website, but then had to leave to find their reviews elsewhere? It?s critical to link your third party reviews to your own website & make them easy to find (ie on your homepage) - self published ?testimonials? are deemed to be trustworthy by the public, avoid.
- Your social media - if they follow you, it?s a great opportunity to post your 5* feedback. Link the review to a before / after picture for extra bonus points.
Now you?ve got these areas covered, make sure you are constantly topping up your latest reviews & take time to responding to them, it?s great for client engagement & don?t forget SEO.
